Why Bepannaah is in this state

I think most of the fandom knows that colors, SP, Zee are into trps .
Sometimes i feel the off air news is okay, acceptable
The jail scene reminded me of Tere Liye where Onu was counting his days but the end had.a incomplete feeling bcos everything else was good there. After a long long time Ekta made TL so different from her usual stuff and she chose Harshad for it. He was her blue eyed boy then that she took a different route for TL, yes it did have its share of very loyal fans who stuck to this soap

Well Bepannaah never has this kind of fans. Today Rajveer's mission of breaking his own family is successful. I can now say the purpose of Rajveer's track was to destroy his father's family. He did it, Hooda parivar is completely into pieces. I thought Sakshi will be back but they brought Apurva to do the deed. This indecent proposal has shaken many fans,. Bepannah is story of flawed characters,.they wont be perfect,.something will remain
We want it to be flawless that is why this serial will nwver get the trps it so desires. Yes, colors played havoc with the timimgs but even when channel.interfered with the.script, they retained parallels,.symbolism.etc
The young ones do not have patience so do we.

Revisiting my old post of 101 reasons to quit Bepannaah, i can add 102nd so on and so forth..

Okay

1. We cannot understand why two strangers will fall in love because their respective partners had an affair and were bumped off, so we quit

2. Why did Zoya who knows absolutely nothing about business and aditya come together to run the deceased Yash aroras financially sick company, sorry makes no sense hence we quit.

3. Why is aditya hooda a 32 year old successful pilot behaving like a child, pumping his own money to pay Yash aroras debts just to check and challenge Zoya, create all sort of obstacles , irritate her , eat her head and then save her. Boss this is contradictory, aditya hooda is not my cup of tea so we quit

4. Why is Zoya not like Maya, which women of this age is so dumb, meek, abla nari, submissive, why cant she give it back like Maya. Maya fans ? Zoya can never be Maya. Thats it bye. Major loss of fans actually.

5. Bela track, so damn boring, rajma , adma ka sadma, virani , rajveer, court case. Random tracks, no cause and effect. Cbi and lawyers are made to look like cartoon characters. Jungle track is to fill episodes. Jail and water tank clips are a rip off from popular soaps. No content. See you bye.

6. Pak poosh and dairy, a woman glorifying her husbands love affair, greatest sin on this earth, mil , wife making adi a scapegoat. Sorry we were watching this show only for Jenshad but this too much. Bye and we will never come back.

Forced leap by makers

7. How can Zoya successfully run this her event management company , no flash backs, abrupt transition from someone who knew nothing to a successful business woman. Where is adi, what was he doing in Paris, we havent got any episodes about Paris

8. How can Adi be Zoyas best friend? She cant notice the physical chemistry and the vibes from this person. Aditya has so much time to realise this love, this woman has no feelings. Zoyas character isnt upto the mark , so we quit

9. How long we have to bear this anniversary and Sakshi tamsha, oh my Zoya is still in her friendship zone. We cant bear this.

10. Then comes the third angle, okay we switch off our tv sets till such a time that this actors role ends.

11. Finally from Nikaah to Shaadi, such a strange wedding, to promote other serials, some ramdom actors come and arrange the rituals, vfx snake from Naagin is also there. Where is our old Bepannaah. We will skip the episodes till Zoya and Adi reach Hooda house.

12.OMG no romance and BM track has started. We are so done with this show.

13. We had to bear rajma, warshad? Wanjana now its Zoya vs Anjana

Saas Bahu concept. Okay i better watch Kzk why BP.

14. Last but not the least religion, rituals, festivals, birthdays, anniversaries , celebrations are either not shown properly or there is no need for the story line to consider all this? Sentiments are effected. We dont to do anything with this show.

15. Dupes, BD, bad editing , loose ends, unfinished tracks especially of Arnoor where before a track begins it ends. Cant stand all this. Goodbye

If each and every section of the fandom and viewers give up on BP, what is this if not hypocrisy.

Actually religion and God has nothing to do with BP, most of the characters are atheists.

Its nothing but a bad phase, bad luck which has no end.

I didn't abandon this show even for once. Only time it made me absolutely mad during the Paak Rishta track & that was the only time I missed one or two episodes & then one or two during Arshad marriage track (only the marriage D-day where Waseem trows Zoya out of the house).
I liked how it had a plot, flawed characters that make you think & analyze & delve deep to relate to the characters. This show had characters very similar to KRPKAB characters, where each character was so flawed.

But BP is in this state not only because of fandom, but mainly because of Colors. Some people might have had issues with religion angle but I never had any issue with that. And it pisses me off so bad only because the show had huge scope with plot to compete against shows that are running without any story.

As far as patience is concerned, people are still watching EK crap which test your patience beyond the extreme. If that can be endured, then BP definitely was not testing patience of anyone to any of that extent. Infact I felt, they rushed a lot of parts.

But, what to say, I have to make peace with what it is & it is not any easier. Only few shows have given me such hard time in getting over them- IPK1, Mukti Bandhan, KRPKAB, Dehleez. BP is latest addition to that. It will be in my list of cherished shows.

Nice post. BP's script had some glaring loopholes right from the start, but it had depth. Depth in storytelling and depth in characterisation, which is not something that we see everyday on ITV. Certainly a much much better watch compared to EK's outrageously illogical and pathetic shows.

When it comes to content-driven shows, as you rightly said, the channel does play a huge part. I have a hypothetical question and since you too have seen both KRPKAB and BP, I think you'll be in a good position to answer. Would KRPKAB have succeeded on Colors? Would BP have run successfully on Sony?

KRPKAB is undoubtedly one of the best ITV shows we've had in recent times, if not the best. Pre-leap KRPKAB was absolutely brilliant and though the post-leap phase had a few flaws, the writers still did a wonderful job with it. BP has been an excellent show, a powerful show with a hard-hitting concept (ignoring the current track and some of the stupid stuff shown earlier) What would be the fate of these two shows, had we swapped the channels?

P.S- I've watched Dehleez as well. It was a beautiful show :')

I have never felt anything missing frm bepannaah...but u r right..tereliye was abt perfect people...bepannaah is about real human nature..and many were never ready to accept tht realistic humans with flaws can be heroes and heroines too..many in the fandom kept trying to make a super man or super women from aditya or zoya..while they portrayed just realistic human natures..i would say i prefer bepannaah ten times to tereliye even..and trust me i have watched tereliye atleast 8 times since it shut down..but bepannaah is simply another class to any other show..its perfection in imperfections..i guess many of the trp audience are yet not ready for such marvellous works and still carry on with their never ending.torturous nonsense shows...its too sad to.be honest..i have never felt this bad abt a show..usually a show messes up at least duri g its end time..here even though the end track is torturous..the execution..direction and acting ..i have no words..its beauty..that beauty is consistent in bepannaah..since day 1..i will never stop watching bepannaan..no.matter how.many years pass..this has been the best show ever with the best ever team...

The TRP audiences in India are the reason behind Bepanah's current state. They only want regressive content which EK/Gul's shows sell. Its sad that BP never gave the Channel that kind of profit which the show deserved. The audiences of Indian Channels are rigid minded, stubborn, regressive and completely inflexible. They are just not ready to give a chance to logical shows like Bepanah which are close to reality.
After watching the precap we BP fans out here are celebrating that Adi instead of misunderstanding Zoya has decided to break his relationship only to keep her safe. That's something normal/practical behaviour. But TRP audiences would have rejoiced if pragmatism was shown in our show. Thats the sad reality of Bepanah.
There is no point in blaming Colors because their audiences want regressive content and as a Channel they definetly want to show what sells.
All I can say is BP deserved much better, but sadly it will never get its due.

You can't blame the audience the channels have played with the timings and script. Then how can it expect good TRPs. Even in the end days Bepannaah starts from 10:50 pm but the TRPs are counted from 10:30am what do they expect from the audience bear the Roop crap for 20 mins before Bepannaah starts, I'm in the forum I'm doing this as I'm kind of aware about it but what about others who are not aware. Since I'm having dishtv connection at my place I don't know even if my contribution is counted. This Colors is a completely sick channel it deserves to die a slow death for butchering our beautiful show leaving lose ends.

KRPKAB would have never ventured this long on colors. They ruined Mukti Bandhan for TRP sake and it originally had time slot of 9:30 later shifted to 11:00.

But BP would have done wonders on Sony with the popularity it amasses and also people would have switched to sony for this particular show. DHTH was doing well on Sony before EK decided to take it off air and go only web way.

Colors is only good for absolutely regressive content. They thrive on that only. As for Indian audience, I remember how Zindagi channel quickly b3came popular among all age-group with many of its shows. I really think there is some major flaw in TRP system.

Shows like Bepannaah should not be aired on indian tv. It would have been perfect if the show was on a digital platform like Netflix or hotstar would have gotten to see the story from start to finish without interference from any of the channels. Now i'm only left to imagine how the rest of the original story would have been like in post leap.
