Colors' TV show Bepannaah has been in the news for quite some time now. The daily, as we earlier reported, is slated to go off air from December 30. The news didn't go down well with fans of the show. They started a hashtag #Don'tEndBepannaah urging the makers and channel to retain it. Meanwhile, another report suggested, that owing to its digital popularity, officials are planning to give it a new lease of life. There was strong buzz that the show might shift to Viacom 18's digital platform, Voot. And indeed plans and talks were on. However, if the latest update is to be believed, things don't look good for the show.

According to a source working on the show, plans to shift the show to Colors' digital subsidiary was indeed on, but there seems to be a major roadblock. "Show's leads Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget have refused to be a part of the show post its extension on the digital platform," the source exclusively reveals. Both Chopda and Winget, who play Aditya and Zoya on screen, are not quite keen to work for a show that will be aired on the digital platform. "They have informed the channel about their decision that they don't wish to continue the show after it shifts," the source adds. The reason behind their refusal is still not known. It could be either monetary reasons or something else that is best known to the actors.

Apparently, talks are still on to convince them. "The final call is not taken yet, as the persuasion with the two actors are still going on," the source reveals.

Nonetheless, if the two actors refuse to continue, do you think the makers will replace them and continue with the show? Or will this finally lead to the show's end?

Good that they have taken a united stand. There won't be any wars between HC and JW fans. Inspite of what we want, it is their bread and butter. If going digital doesn't work out for them financially, who are we to complain.

Honestly I don't blame the actors. Many still prefer TV over online mediums & they are hugely paid actors. Why would they? It will take an impact on their brand reputation all. Considering all this issues, just end it with dignity without butchering Zoyas character further.
