Even in chaos, for Adi and Zoya, a certain calm order prevails between both. It has to be due to how swift both are in making sense of each situation hurled at them. Thanks to their enemies arrows shot at their family. Zoya and Adi too now learn fast to give their foes a befitting fast reply! Every challenge they face, whether from family or foe. These two are ready to act accordingly. However, can they be stealthily fast enough! to celebrate their true love, especially on the battle field? Karva Chauth is their very hope.
Fasting is about giving up something which is hard to part with for a set period of time. In the episode apart from abstaining from food , as part of the faith discipline of Karva Chauth .Both Aditya and Zoya as husband and wife also go through an indefinite period of practicing self- denial of sentiments for each other. As much as they would not rather do, both are forced to refrain themselves from revealing the truth about their brought on discord between themselves, before the family.
Both actually starve to be real but are forced to safeguard the greater interests of the Hooda family. As in any fast, this firm discipline that Adi and Zoya impose on themselves, is painful, tedious and long! Worse still its without a time scale!
Yet part of their fasting, they have to remind themselves, is not just to maintain their happiness as two people very much in Bepannah love. But its about putting on a faade, to gain access for the greater happiness of their families. Hence their show and portrayal of being daggers drawn with each other has to continue to expose the real villains after their families joy and peace..
But easier said than done! As for Zoya to practice undercover fasting stands out as being dismissed away! termed flippant and frivolous in the eyes of the world. But within their souls, both Adi and Zoya know the truth that lies in tact between them. That both love each other and their families more than anything else in the world. So what is that fasting, abstinence, self denial that serves to keep them united but makes them lose their loved ones?
Yet to keep their loved ones safe and secure, both Adi and Zoya themselves walk upon the path of thorns. Both conceal truths from their families; both render wounds to themselves plus their dear loved ones.
Such a aristocracy thing! The servants of the house squeal the secrets of the family for a few fast bucks ! The mystery woman gets the information she wants from Victor. Aditya and Zoya had a slinging match and Zoya will not be fasting for her husband's long life! viola! our couples mock play dupes both her the wily woman and her mole! I am surprised how easily the old biddy believes. Ah well! She accepts what she blindly believes in that Zoya's, incurable goodness will never forgive the Hoodas for nurturing the life of Anjana committing the crime.
It will eventually be Rajveer and his nani's complacency that will pull the carpet from under their feet! Victor sells his loyalty but fails to read between the lines.. as he too like most people goes by what he sees and hears. He compares Zoya to a live wire!
Ready to electrocute any Hooda that comes in contact with her! What the foes fail to grasp is that it's really a divine energy that she emits to fight evil. The current of divine energy comes from her Adi's love and loyalty to her and his family!
For the love of Adi, Zoya even takes the difficult step of if not lying, then withholding the truth ,misleading her mother into believing all is well and normal with her! For fearing of slipping the truth, Zoya acts all blas about her out fit.. a usual subject one's mother brings up! Adopts her usual mindset of giving good ear to her Roshnaq advice to walk in step with both the KC rituals and the norms of the family. The ancestral sari that was passed on to Zoya by Anjana some how got lost in the ebbs and flows of their lives. Today becomes just the occasion to wear it! But only to trouble shoot in public !
For Victor's benefit! Zoya knocks off the ornament! creates a scene to provoke an exchange of hot words and taunts, between her and Anjana again all for the mole. The performance has to be ongoing,, Zoya aims to be seen and thought of as the notorious , coarse mannered Hooda bhau! Anjana's words are caustic , Zoya wouldn't fast, she is flippant about the meaning behind KC as her marriage is a total sham, Anjana jeers at Zoya , its her bitter jealously that makes her taunt others but she has lost the privilege to celebrate KC for the love and life of their husband!
Zoya has to bear the venom of Anjana's words that she should be so lucky to have her husbands name scribed in her palm.. it's a matter of what is seen and unseen. For Zoya too, was seeing things! she saw Adi's name written on her palm, in the henna prepared by Adi's hands!
What's also not seen by family and foes is Zoya's preening and beauty complete beyond words in the privacy of their room. But Adi laps in to his hearts delight! Adi gawking eyes takes in every detail of Zoya as she decks herself for him. The more she beatifies herself his roving eye just settles on her.. lazily semi intoxicated Adi heart swells at the idea that Zoya consecrates herself for him!
The final touch that makes her into a complete woman ! his dear wife! a pinch of vermillion by his pincer grip in her hairline.. with his name stamped on her hairline! Zoya challenges him to defeat their foe! By commemorating her first KC in the public eye! rather then enclosed within the privacy of their room! Zoya even in her act, wishes to celebrate the ritual before every one! Their action will help to exalt the bonding of their two souls that by all see as drifting apart! Besides Rajveer and the mystery woman too can witness the disruption that Zoya plans to cause before Anjana's guests!
Both are willingly more so Zoya, than Adi! but both also keep their goal in mind! give Rajveer proof that on and off sparks fly in Hooda house and that Zoya by her unacceptable behaviour causes much embarrassment and loss of respectability for the Hooda!
Adi is nervous if Zoya can keep up the act? But for Zoya as long as he covers her back , her energy and current comes from her husband. Victor provides video call for those eyes that are fixed on Zoya bringing down Hooda house!
Anjana's socialite friends want some entertainment! thus they ask about the missing bahu? ,Zoya is referred to as one who spews poison! The mystery woman loves control and mumbles to herself little do they known that its is she who will act as an eclipse for their moon! she is one augurs of their doom and gloom !
Zoya comes to the party! as the unwanted! the gate crasher guest! All eyes settle upon her. All cruel tongues wag against her! hurt though it does! Her task is bigger than her pain. Adi in the shadows will continue to remain her ongoing support. What more can Zoya aspire for ? her husband's eyes follow her every, move, in control or out of balance. Her ploy is not to draw the interest of the guests . It's to whip up a direct confrontation between Anjana and herself! let the foe see!! she performs the part well! Zoya's brave front gives way! she swoons! drags with her the table sheet that hold individual thalis! Along with Zoya all crash to the floor! Adi nearly chokes with fright as he realizes her fasting may have caused it! Victor carries on filming giving first hand information! live coverage of the live wire Zoya! mystery woman wonders did Zoya fast?? Adi dashes out to cut out all lights so Zoya is less conspicuous!
The treasured Hooda daughter cum daughter in law bears the affliction of Anjana's sharp words that pierce Zoya! May be in her act, Zoya grieves a mother to such an extent! that she has to call Zoya a jinxed witch! Who prowls around robbing people of their happiness. Again Zoya's projection of her exaggerated disruptive devil may care, surly bahu ! really is all to secure her family's happiness not snatch it away! but then seldom can people make sense of inference ..
Whatever Zoya says it's to add credibility to trick the enemy! Her retort to Anjana about seizing and filching her right to fast for her husband tonight! And wham Adi switches the lights off to prevent the fiasco from blowing out of proportion! For this black out too! Anjana casts blame at Zoya! Well it's also end of breaking news between Victor and the mystery woman! Victor the source of light on Zoya in Hooda house snuffs out for the moment!!
The crumpled frame of Zoya gives Adi the chance to clear the area, plus better still! To practice. the right to gather his burden of love in his arms and whisk her away from all! to a secluded corner. In the safety of his strong arms.. the auspicious hour of worship too approaches. Many tulle curtains swirl around them! conceal them subtly from the eyes of rest of the world.
With the opaque orb of the moon far away in the dark firmament! Zoya feels and steals a glance at her moon through the sheer tulle milky screen. Her moon close to her, yet so distant like the moon in the sky.. he gives Zoya a drink of water and a sense of completion descends over her! All rituals despite the presence of evil principalities she follows! All the more because her Adi.. looks to all other arrangements related to opening a fast!
Zoya is blessed one platter of food was prepared by the head of her new family and now another platter of food to break fast arrives from her mother's house! To round off with a Video call from Roshnaq! and blessings for this happily married couple!
The rest of the world just might not be there! Zoya celebrates her first KC.. with her moon.. on the terrace with her mothers blessings and husband's support. They share the morsels of food to break their fast. What a strange abstinence is this ?where they both have to give up that both cannot do without.. championing the truth!
The prowlers eyes seeks for live coverage of Zoya's whereabouts.? Victor the mole makes his way to the terrace with the video call camera running.. will Adi and Zoya's best kept secret be exposed?
Heaven help Zoya!! she makes enemies left and righ and centre !! due to her waving about the flag of truth! and fighting injustice! Anjana too by now misunderstands Zoya's behaviour ! believes in doing away with Zoya before she does away with the lot of them! who can reach Zoya? as Adi will always be there to provide his mantle of love over her.
