Just got the time to watch the episode. What a painfully soulful episode!
I loved every line in the waseem aditya confrontation. Yash could never stand up for his love infront of waseem but aditya respectfully stands up for not only his love but her identity as well. He clearly tells waseem I am not going to force her to do anything, like waseem is doing. He will let zoya decide for herself where her happiness belongs. Aditya described why arshad is not right for zoya so beautifully. The met in the storm of betrayal and pulled each other out of that storm by placing their faith in each other. In the process, their souls reached out and connected. Once souls are connected how can anyone separate them? Also, another thing I am loving about all this is that Aditya is not hiding or being sneaky in his actions. He has told the bride and her father clearly what his intentions are for planning this wedding. That's how honest he is.
The whole aditya-zoya scene has to be one of the best they have shown till now. It reflects Adi's words about their soul being connected. When he enters the room he says stunning and for a moment zoya freezes and watches him. It is for a second but you can make out that it is only his compliment which had an effect on her. Since monring everyone was saying she looked lovely but only he could see ignite that reaction. The moment she takes it off she becomes perfect for him.
First time Aditya had held her face on his birthday. Back then his soul was broken due to pooja's memories and when he reached his office he found solace in Zoya. His subconscious mind held her face and said I wish I had met you at a different time. Zoya didn't understand the depth of his pain was making him say that she thought he was drunk.
Second time after the rainy night when he thought he lost her. He held her face and cried for her to come back to him it felt as though he lost his soul again. But when she came back to him, he held her face and said I won't let anything happen to you and finally Zoya smiles because she was at peace with his touch.
Today, it wasn't Aditya but Zoya who needed to be held. If you watch really closely when Adi puts his hand back to fix her mang tikka his hand touches her's and she stops struggling. She holds his gaze as though searching for her soul. She doesn't break the touch infact she slides her hand down his and I may be wrong but for me it felt as if she directed his hand to hold her. Like the first time, it's her soul that is lost and in pain this time, she needs to be held. Her eyes speak her pain and he reads that pain without being told. The moment he holds her face, she closes her eyes and holds his hand to give her strength. She finds her moment of sukoon in all this chaos.
The shoe scene actually showed each men's personality. Aditya who puts his self respect at stake for sake of love and treats a job as job. Arshad had a lot of repect from me in that scene. He wasn't enjoying it at all. No man no matter how horrible enjoys another man's insult in this manner. Waseem showed what kind of human he is by enjoying the show.
Zoya runs into the room and first thing she does is throw the kangan which is suffocating her. Not her maang tika which was put lovingly by Aditya but the kangan which she put zabardasti. She cannot watch her love bend down infront of everyone but her ego this time won't allow to fight for him.
I don't understand how Arshad was so oblivious to her tears and pain. Either he is doing it on purpose, he is waiting for zoya to say something so he is pushing her till she doesn't break. Or he is in denial that once she marries him, he can change her with his love. The signs are too obvious he needs to back off.
The last scene was wrapped in words of symbolism š Waseem hands Aditya his amanat(zoya) and asks him to take care of it and give her the ring in the evening. I know he said it was arshad but engament rings have his blessings and has been given toh engagement toh aditya kar ke rehega with his amanat! Zoya's face was worth watching when she found out engagement was tonight š Her smile literally dropped. And the entire time she couldn't meet Aditya's eyes. She avoided his gaze because she knew she won't be able to see the pain in them. She will break.
Precap- A frustrated Aditya is scared his love is slipping out of his hands. Frankly even I would be frustrated if I was in his place, Zoya has begun giving too many signs that shes not happy yet she won't admit š Anyway both their bleeding hands reflect their bleeding hearts which is connected so they will get engaged with blood not rings. (Violent I know š)
A big big applause to Jenny and HC! They were amazing. Specially Jenny in the maang tikka scene was aesthetic!!
