Welcome to the writers club on BP forum! It is always interesting to get different viewpoints .

Most viewers do not have a problem with Zoya. the problem lies with the CVs.We understand all those reasons why Zoya may not readily agree with Aditya when he confesses his love. That is acceptable. ..once bitten twice shy...or as they say in Hindi ..dudh ka jala chchaanch bhi phukh phukh ke pita hai.She will be vary and fight to convert her friendship for Aditya to something deeper. I am with her all the way. All the viewers are asking for is an insight into her mind. Some signal as to what she is going through and why. My personal guess is that she is fully aware of Aditya's bepanah pyar and not yet ready to walk that way so she has suddenly in a way switched off. When two people have been through what these two have together they can feel each other's pulse immediately. So Zoya who is not a fool will feel Aditya's love but will resist it to protect him as well and not just herself .Remember Adi's intial hesitation which he shares with Arjun...that those two will always stand between them...and what will the samaj say ? Zoya too will have the same questions and the need to protect Adi.
This tug of war in her heart will continue till her love conquers everything.Something drastic will happen for her to yield and break all barriers to embrace Aditya as her true love.

Arshad is merely a crutch she is using to keep Aditya at bay. He does not matter in the bigger picture. They asked for two weeks so she agreed as it suits her as well to keep Aditya off...but only after clarifying that she did not want to marry anyone but has no problem with friendship.

All this most of us know. It is just the way the CVs are churning out the episodes that we do not approve. Just some insight of her thoughts would make everyone happy.

eg it would be nice if she cleverly helped Aditya with the biryani even if she finally declared boring Arshad as the winner. We are just wanting some AdiYa interaction. If you notice the protests have died down after the last two episodes where there were some AdiYa moments cleverly executed ...even the melody that binds them playing in the background. Some fantastic one liners from Aditya and on Zoya's side her willing to share Keema pao in Bandra and then the invitation to the Eid lunch followed by the telephonic reminder.

That is all we are asking for.Surely the creative team can conjure up some more of the same while they stick to their script.

I also wish to add that if communication is what broke Adiyas marriages in the first place as of now it's the same communication is what they lack..

This was beautifully put! The internal feelings, emotions, and thoughts are extremely important and I wish we were shown that more, as others have pointed out! You perfectly put together how Zoya's journey has made her the person she is today along with Aditya as well. Zoya is one character I also connected to, having gone through some rocky relationships myself, I know it takes time as well, especially if you had such a deep connection with that person. Like you said, Zoya was in denial, and at a point angered but by the end she accepted and forgave but that does not mean you forgot what has happened to you. I'll be giving the writers the benefit of the doubt as well, they may be avoiding Zoya's inner thoughts because currently, she is not being given the chance to truly voice her opinions. When Zoya expressed to her parents, she has no intent to get married, there is no space for this relationship in her life and reason being herself, she was convinced to give Arshad two weeks of her time. I know she said things may change in two weeks, who knows, but I feel like that's on the surface. When Aditya had asked her about what happened after she talked to her father, her facial expressions were very interesting. Imagine you tell your parents how you feel, and they still try to convince you otherwise. She's being cornered and being the person she is, she will follow what her parents say, especially because of how her past was. Yet her past hasn't left her and she still has many issues. Her voice is being stepped on by her parents at the moment, along with Arshad and Aditya too, to a certain extent and I would like to believe that this is the reasoning behind the lack of expression on Zoya's end on the show. BUT, let's see, I'm going to take my hopes down and let them go because who know's what the writers will show.

The problem many people have with the current track (myself included) is that Zoya's POV is not being shown. Ever since arshad has come, cvs have been neglecting her character and making the episodes into Aditya vs arshad. But someone had mentioned director is on vacation, so I guess the filler episodes are there until he gets back. And the character of arshad is very boring he is spoiling the charm of the show somehow.

Thank you😊 I totally agree with you, the majority of how we see Zoya's character at the moment is left up to us viewers to decipher, whilst we can understand her as someone who has hurt badly and not willing to give love a chance, this needs to be shown on tv from her pov rather than showing arshad and pitting him and aditya against eachother. Hopefully once the director gets back we should see this.😊

Wow u have given a very different perspective to the whole story and your essay is very good.

My mom 10 years ago made me watch Ballika Vadu and Na and iss desh mein Laado. It was actually torture for me to watch female foeiticide and that drowning a new born baby in milk . But what made people go ga ga over these characters because Ammaji and dadisa were very powerful characters although evil and not role models for anyone ..later I think they became good.. these characters oozed energy , the story line also was very strong..
COLORS aired these serials when the channel was launched.

After 10 years , Colors on it's channel decides to air a show with flawed or weak characters , many were curious but it was difficult to understand the very concept of this show.. this one essentially dwells on feelings and apsrt from the chemistry between the leads, the expressions potrayed by Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda are like classic antiques , it's priceless. Apart from that in comparison to a prime time shows they are many loopholes of unfinished tracks, amateurish editing and story seems to be fudged royally for trps. A woman accepting her husband's love to be pure and scared like water from the Ganges is like something straight from a SaaS Bahu show and not Bepannaah. The purpose of Cameos are still not very specific, they are just dumped here and there . They keep coming and then disappear. I can go on but I'll let it go.

As per your post which is exactly the situation now, Adi is looking for love and Zoya is looking for friendship. It looks like a role reversal for me, Pooja fell for Yash because he loved her like a man and not a friend and Yash fell for Pooja because she became his friend and not love.

Keeping this in mind .can Adiya be connected to each other emotionally? Do they know what the other one wants. Zoyas realisation track is complete because she has declared him as his best friend but Adis track is incomplete since he loves her and can't think beyond love, he has yet to reveal his feelings . Will they really be a couple bcos what they want from each other is different.

Then it's better that Adi tells his side of story asap bcos she will he confused and puzzled for ever ..it's time that we hear her fears, expectations about love and friendship so that the relationship can move forward or if has to move or not.

As a viewer since the past six mnths , the female lead has been crowned as dumb, dumber and dumbest, this isn't so. SHE is capable and circumstances and a man called Aditya Hooda made her successful business woman. She seems to shut herself down when it comes to falling in love but is okay with Arshad a alliance dumped on her by her father . Zoya has to sort out her priorities and so does Adi. He seems to believe that if he is in love Zoyas feelings will be similar) but he is taking too much for granted .

The face off between two individuals is lacking and that is required in a love story , maybe it will come but since the characters are flawed right since the beginning, their decisions even after facing and going through the toughest situations and circumstances is still not upto the mark and that hurts fans or those who follow this show with certain expectations.

I know what you mean, I think there are loopholes in the story such as the pregancy storyline and how we didn't see Zoya explain the 2 week thing but it was left to us to assume that she didn't want to let her father down again.
I feel like the cameos are only there to push the storyline a bit and then they leave, which can be quite frustrating but I'm quite thankful that the cameos aren't dragged to a point where we stop watching which has already happened within 2 weeks of Arshad😕
I think we need to give it a chance and Adiya won't be able to be together until they face their demons and Zoya is able to accept love.
I don't know if this is the general consensus of people in India but in the UK I often see good indian programmes such as BP now which have a strong storylines in comparison to other shows such as Naagin whose storylines are highly unbelieveable and unrealistic but seem to do well in India on the trp charts.

Sakshi from what I remember did not focus on the 2nd pregnancy because her main aim was to subtly pin the entire blame on Adi for her bitch daughter to go through with the affair and not the aftermath of the affair itself.

Anyway the writers should work on Zoya like they do with Adi. A lot of it is left for the audience to assume when it comes to Zoya. (like you've theorised that she may have found it less cruel that Yash and Pooja only cheated on them emotionally and that would have allowed her to rebuild her life in the 6 months period)

This is exactly what I thought, surely the report had a date but when Sakshi told Aditya it was made out as if the child was his and there was no conversation with Zoya about the pregnancy but a quick forgiveness for Poosh, I feel like it will come out again at some point.
I know exactly what you mean they do need to show her pov cause at the moment we have to attempt to decipher her character and the pain she was/is in when it come to love. Hopefully her pov is shown and more into the murder and the effect it had on her.

This is a really interesting view point and I feel I completely agree with you.
Certainly since Arshad has been in the background the negative views have died down cause the charm of the show is seen again.
The one thing I usually like about 3rd angles is the stolen moments between the 2 characters which we saw over the past couple of days where she was supposed to be with Arshad but had those moments with Aditya😆
I mentioned in the replies above the same idea that you mentioned about how we need to see Zoya's pov and why she is so hesitant to find love, hopefully we see it soon.

Exactly, I feel like it won't happen until Arshad is out of the way but we can look forward to the moments between Adiya whilst he is there and hopefully Zoya's pov being explored.

I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on the story and how it ties in with your real experience. I'm also hoping that the pov is explored and her parents can't force her into a relationship.

Just one clarification.Zoya is not being forced by her parents but just her father. Roshna it seems is quite smitten by Aditya and probably sees where her daughter's happiness lies.

Also Zoya I beileve cannot be forced to do anything she does not agree with. She will always go with her own beliefs however much she may love her Abbu. He will never be able to enforce his will on her. She did it once by marrying Yash against his wishes. She will do it again if need be. I do not agree with those who feel she may marry Arshad to please her father as she went against him and messed up.You can see it in small things. The way she emphatically told her father she is not going to marry but is ok with friendship. Even last night she did not cower in fright when Waseem found her with Aditya ...very confidently she calmed her father ..there was none of the father shouting at daughter and dragging her home . It is in this respect that Bepanah scores over other serials.
