hahahahha... so this seems funny considering I started watching the show for aditya's intensity but I really like the dynamic arshad brings to the table. aditya was getting really boring with his puppy teenager routine and so it is entertaining to see these two men start to battle a war of words and actions like a polite chess game. the zingers are going to get better and more entertaining as time passes because aditya is very sarcastic. can't wait! š
and arshad has a cute smile! while the view did not look much like mussoorie -- it is actually closer to view of dehradun from certain points outside mussoorie! ... kekkek... will leave that real details aside... but what he did was actually sweet. it has been years since I studied in mussoorie and left but there are still times I miss it. so I totally get why zoya would feel so moved by that gesture. you have to have lived in the mountains to know how much you can miss mountains and trees...
am actually starting to get why waseem likes arshad. in a way, he reminds me of yash but a much better version. he is easy going but also very grounded. he is responsible and has a good understanding of whats going on. he is not a fool and can see that aditya likes zoya. but rather than treat him antagonistically, he plays it cool and like a gentleman. have to give him points for that! š
but what waseem has not taken into factor is whether zoya 2.0 wants an improved version of yash from their own community. for someone who is burned from that experience, she may prefer someone completely different...
so rather than annoying third wheel, arshad feels refreshingly entertaining and am liking how he is prompting aditya to grow up. rather than arshad's interactions with zoya (which are actually mildly sweet and would have been fine if they were OTP in another drama), it is arshad's interactions with aditya and others that is keeping me amused and looking forward. should be fun friends! we need that intense funny aditya back!
