Yes IPKKND, is still my most favourite show ever! Barun Sobti and Arnav Singh Raizada s places can probably never be taken by anyone else.
Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan- season 1. Parth! My crush ! On par with Barun in my favourite list I suppose. Season 1 is a must try if you are a fan of love stories. Only advice is don't judge the show with first few episodes, its picks up amazingly as it continues. Somehow season 2 and 3 didn't match !

Ek hazaron me meri behna hain, saraswatichandra, Beyhadh!

N now Bepannah

Ya lot of people have recommended IPKKND!! maybe will watch it sometime. Never watched KYY as i was glued to sadda haq back then and i couldn't possibly watch for the female lead, as my friend called her the girl who stuffed her mouth with rasgullas all the time!!her cheeks were damn chubby!!!😆

Thank you so much for the list!!

Hi Trupti!

So that's your name...your user name is really nice too, and so is your DP! 😳

Interesting post, that you've thought of...

Other than Bepannaah, my fav shows have been (in no particular order):

1. Left Right Left - good concept, good writing and apt casting
2. Rang Badalti Odhani - some brilliant writing during what we referred to as the period of "golden" RBO, with a FAB lead pair...they introduced me to CHEMISTRY on ITV! The series will always remain special, 'cos it also introduced me to IF, and some of the brightest and creative minds I have ever met, who continue to be a very special and integral part of my life...
3. Ishq ka rang safed - beautiful, novel concept, and will always remain close to my heart, 'cos it introduced me to my other favourite ITV actor, Mishal Raheja. The leads in this series also had a sublime chemistry and did complete justice to the writing, and the changing equation between the characters...
4. Ek Duje Ke Vaaste - easily the best writing that I have encountered on ITV, except for the end, which was sadly and royally butchered!!! Very talented leads in this one too, who completely owned their characters; this forum had some wonderful writers too, whose work I cherish reading, even today...
5. Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhania - A breezy, wonderfully made "slice of life" drama, with some great storytelling, real characters, relatable situations, and again, a very talented lead pair, who brought to life every moment effortlessly; some wonderful chemistry here, as well! Incidentally, the female lead of this series was Namita Dubey, our very own Pooja!

Hope you find this information useful! :)

hey that's such an interesting list !!! Pm me anything else that's unique, if you remember ,,thanks once again!!

Had edited my post to include a 5th series - a must watch, IMO...

Reposting the details here...

Heyy! Nice topic, read each and one answer. Surprisingly so many shows emerged which I had no idea about and plot seems good.
Well my favorite till the date will no doubt be : Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. Ah and I understand , Sadda Haq and KYY used to clash. I used to watch Sadda Haq for a while but then chose KYY over it since they messed it uo for me and no regrets.

KYY at least season 1 was one of the most beautiful serial on Indian Telly I have ever watched. Every teenage issue such as coming out to your parents and friends (Gay relationships) , pregnancy out of wedlock , broken children because of failed marriages ( Cheating or divorcee parents), insecurity at a phase, molestation and how to handle it , Bullying and standing up for it. Each scene was directed and written brilliantly. You will find not find any loopholes at all. The dialogues to the friendship portrayal to the chemistry. It was on another level. Ofc the chemistry was the main thing for some people but it never let the main story slouch. Season 2 wasn't that good because of some inconsistencies but still good compared to others. Season 3 was also phenomenal and to the point as web series are.

The other show I liked or actually loved was Ishqbaaz till 200 episodes. The chemistry was addicting between the leads. Till it went off track.

Reporters was another show which is rare nowadays. Rajeev Khandelwal and Kritika Kamra did an outstanding job.

Coming to Jennifer, her Saraswatichandra was very enjoyable with Gautam Rode. A great cast and greater chemistry.

That's all which comes to mind right now, thank you for the post :)

Hey,
I have watched both Sadda Haq and KYY. Trust me, KYY is miles ahead of Sadda Haq if you go by the relatabilty factor. I'd be honest I only watched Sadda Haq after it ended. KYY was sth I watched when it was on air(Season 1 only) and it was very pacey and unlike Sadda Haq where the story was very inconsistent, KYY had a natural progression, not just the leads but all the characters will entice you coz they all grow and you'd enjoy the journey.z
I didn't enjoy Sadda haq much coz the manhandling and secret society BS was too LOLsome for me but I do agree that it was better as a concept but the execution wasn't good. I could never get over the guy cheating on his GF and then putting the blame on the girl.

Well, you should only watch BH in order to appreciate her versatility as an actor (She started shooting for BP exactly a month after finishing up BH, and both Maya and Zoya are like chalk and cheese with nary an overlapping trait between the two characters). Otherwise the script is pretty much wafer thin like BP (good overarching theme but bad execution, something that's a staple of this PH).

Don't worry about any other actors. She's the show-stealer and everyone else fades into periphery when she appears on screen😃
