I think people are getting negatively influenced by two things

1. They had very high expectations from the show. Not sure what those expectations are though because this show is surely different from many others - we do not have major saas bahu drama and kitchen politics

2. People are getting influenced by TRPs - which is on the lower side. For high TRPs, we need kitchen politics and petty drama - which is a NO for me

Glad to so many people agreeing with me, and that's the beauty of an open forum, you don't know who the opposite person is but still you respect their POV !

I so agree with you. I was going through one thread yesterday here. There were people who were like, I thought this was a different show but it turned out to be same old, I thought we will get to see passionate love story but we're instead getting to see Tom and Jerry fights, AdiYa are not looking like they have just lost their spouses, why are they not mourning, why are AdiYa always touching each other, he is a widower and she's a widow so they shouldn't touch each other.

I really don't know if these are valid criticisms. I feel the concept and adiya story is still different from other shows, only the scenes are same old. On one hand, they want to see a passionate love story and on the other hand they don't want Adiya to even touch each other.

I too fail to understand what exactly did they expect from an Indian daily soap. Some criticisms in that thread were valid and some criticisms just didn't make any sense to me.

I so agree with both of you. And I agree with the TM too thateveryone has their right to express disappointment even I myself am angry with the CVs for bringing this fake marriage cliche track but what I fail to understand that how is that a certain group of people is disappointed with everything about the show including the title name.

It goes something like this,

When there is a scene where Zoya is remembering Yash and crying
People are like
"stop the Yash Jaap no one turns on the TV to see this rona-dhona"

When Zoya is having a funny argument with adi
"oh my God why is she laughing isn't she a widow?"

When adi takes Pooja's name in sleep
"Why is Adi still in his past? He should move on"

When he is being funny with Zo or touching her
"Haiii Ram isnt he a widower?? Why isn't he mourning he doesn't seem like a guy who just lost his wife"

Now tell me if by chance the CVs visit the forum won't they get confused?? Because we are never satisfied on one hand we want funny scenes on the other hand we want mourning, the problem is some of us actually don't even know what we want. I will be the happiest person on Earth if the CVs someday visit the forum and sees how disappointed people are with the current track but then again I feel even if they listen to us and improve the track still we will not be satisfied.

^Someone wrote yesterday that in this age of web series, people don't have patience to watch tv serials. They expect everything to go faster or they are confused as to what exactly do they want to see.
Before the divorce papers track, they were complaining why is Adi always drinking while thinking about Pooja and why is Zoya always crying while thinking about Yash? Now that Aditya has stopped drinking and Zoya stopped crying and are slowly moving on, they want AdiYa to mourn for their partners? Why should they mourn even after getting one big solid proof of their spouses betrayal? It's high time they moved on.

Then they have problems with AdiYa touching each other. Are we in the black and white movies era where hero and heroine would not touch each other? There were comments like, PooSh only held each others hands but look at these two. They are always touching each other.

And then they want the love story also to start soon.

For one thing this show's concept is still different because the way AdiYa's story has started is different. AdiYa went through terrible circumstances but they never hated each other. Somewhere deep down their hearts, they have always respected each other. There were certain scenes which were cliche but their story is not cliche IMO.

There's always a suspense element in almost every episode with each and every character looking mysterious and suspicious to me.

The Viranis contract looks like a big trap to me which will land AdiYa in huge trouble.

Well said! Right now certain aspects aren't making sense but I am sure it's cos it's leading to something big in the form of Apoorva's entry and pretty sure he is Mahi's boyfriend so right now she is doing all this to win his trust that's all.

The fanbase is big so not everyone will share the same sentiment. In fact within one group people will love (or hate) it in varying degrees. Different povs imo are good coz you get a diverse discussion. It makes the forum interesting and like TM said - online forums are where people vent their frustration or show their love.
I started watching mainly for HarshJen. And I love them together. Some scenes are lame-adjacent, but for me there is a whole lot going on on the good side. I am enjoying the show.

There are so many contradictions in what people expect... they expect AdiYa love story and a passionate one at that but they take offence to touching... I don't think there is unnecessary touching in the show. Also AdiYa cannot mourn forever. Life moves on... earlier when Zo was crying because she was mourning Y's death people had a problem with that too

I feel show is moving at a logical pace and the leads are moving on in life albeit a little slowly
