Well, I read a couple of posts before watching the episode. Reading those posts instantly made me cringe because of Mahi and Adi hug but after watching the episode i didn't get the same cringe feeling I got while reading the posts.

I feel what Mahi is feeling is normal. I do not know how CVS will play with this track but the scene didn't appear as if Adi is saving Zoya, it came out as Adi saving Mahi and her reaction was so normal for me. She might be feeling some kind of attraction towards her savior.😉 If I notice then, Mahi is more tortured in this than Zoya.

And weirdly, I didn't feel bad watching Adi and Mahi hug.[I watched those scenes a couple of times]😆 It looked so platonic at lease from his side and I can't ignore the fact that, Adi didn't hug her back... He looked so uncomfortable patting her head. 😆

My first reaction, when I got to know what happened in the episode was irritation and I was unhappy but after watching the episode, I kind of understood Mahi. It was normal.

After this, I definitely do not hate Mahi. [I never did too]. 🤣

I am not justifying her past actions but I felt this so I said this. And Mahi is my all time favorite villain. never really liked a villain from shows before, so Mahi is special for me that's why I kind of justified her hug. 🤣

Keechu.

I am with you on this. I was surprised by the reactions here because I definitely did not see anything cringeworthy in Mahi's reaction. Mahi was legitimately scared and her reaction was quite normal given the situation. I did not see obsession in her eyes, in fact, her expressions towards Aditya, for the first time exuded a certain innocence and vulnerability. It wasn't obsession but the look of a young woman becoming infatuated by someone for the first time. In that entire sequence, it truly felt as if something had shifted inside of Mahi. There was a softness within her for the first time. Excellent acting by the actress in this sequence, I could empathize with her here and I actually feel bad that her heart will break. Sure she deserves it because karma but a part of me cannot help feel sorry for her.

Anyways, lets face it. It's hard not to fall in love with Aditya Hooda (it's Harshad Chopra for God's sake). I am surprised that it even took Mahi this long to resist his charms.

Dude IKR! I mean it's so hard to not fall for Adi but the way he saved her, it's just logical and makes sense that she would develop a crush on him.
And yes I agree with you I don't hate Mahi yet, she's my fave after AdiYa in the show. But I sincerely hope they don't make her into a typical psycho vamp who's after the male lead.

Vaishnavi is too good as Mahi! I just wish her character was more layered

Exactly.

She looked so admired by what Adi did. Despite being the villain character in Zoya's life, when Adi is aware of her intention he took it himself to save her, so there wasn't anything wrong how her feelings changed even for a few minutes. We could really see the trasformation from the hard person she is to a vulnurable , innocent and young woman whose life would have spoiled completely if Adi didn't make an entry. And almost every normal girl falls for the guy who protects her dignity. 😆

And yeah, even I expected a change in Mahi's feelings towards Adi.

And Vaishnavi did a brilliant acting there.

Omg Tani I am seeing you after so long! It's so good to see you. Ah TL good memories. Glad you posted in this thread and I caught you otherwise I am a silent member in this forum. Hope you are doing well. Missed our interactions. Wonder if you remember me...

Vaishnavi has been great so far. I love her expressions, they give me a good chuckle especially when she rolls her eyes and looks exasperated.

It's cliched that she has fallen for Aditya but it was logical according to proceedings. Aditya saved her regardless of the fact that he dislikes her. Even the hug wasn't forced. The goon pushed Mahi into Aditya while he was running away and in her fear she automatically held him tighter. Unless of course this is all a charade and part of her game plan but that doesn't make sense to me and her emotions looked too genuine in this sequence.

Thank god, I thought I was the only one with this weirdness. 😆

Even Mahi is my another favorite of the show, so it will take time to hate her. And I have the same hope, I do not want her character to turn into a typical villain.

Exactly, her hug was not forced. And she didn't take initiative in that, okay she did hug him tighter after falling on him but if the goon hadn't pushed her she would not have hugged him, I think so.

Well if there is any game then I do not know what to say.

Umz🤗 LOL I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK YOU if you remembered me, omg the TL discussions we had and just general chit chat, yes I remember you😳 was wondering what had happened since both of us were inactive on IF.
Vaishnavi is really good, she's the reason I can semi-tolerate Mahi😆 Mahi can be a layered character I just hope the CVs give her a good layer because I think Vaishnavi can do a great job.

I agree I think it was a spur of the moment, thanks for saving me kinda hug she gave him, I wanted that from Zoya seeing that the main ship is AdiYa😆 but oh well, I am not liking the typical route the show is taking in showing the vamp falling for the male lead it seemed ok for a few weeks before when she was indifferent towards Aditya, but now it seems so cliche. I am actually hoping that Mahi can be redeemed somehow but I doubt that, they did the same with Shesha in Naagin in which she had such a great anti-heroine vibe but they totally ruined her into making her a psycho villain. Mahi atleast has always been a bitch but idk I still want to root for her😆

Yes, I agree.. it was a natural reaction towards a savior. But I didn't like that hug for two reasons (one rational, another irrational):

1. The consequences of this natural attraction has a potential to be plain catastrophic in future in AdiYa's lives.
2. I felt jealous on behalf of Zoya. 😛

Also, I think you didn't cringe as much because you had been warned beforehand. Which is good, because you could observe what our dislike clouded us to watch. 👍🏼
