Maybe I am the only one but I actually don't mind the marriage happening at this stage of the story. These two clearly aren't in love (at least not yet) but they do care about each other. It is possible after the trauma of being in love and cheated on neither party ever wants that again and this marriage is just one of companionship, friendship and respect, which of course will turn into passionate, true love. They can be happy without the love to begin with. A marriage of convenience doesn't always have to be cliched and about hate and maybe their smiling faces symbolize that?
What is interesting for me as a viewer is how AdiYa reach this juncture of marriage? Is it to save the company, some legal loophole? Does Madhu (through manipulation by Mahi) feel like her daughter-in-law being married will help alleviate some of her depression? Or do Aditya and Zoya hatch this plan to smoke out culprits who may have caused the deaths of their spouse? Another explanation could be that they were caught in a seemingly compromising position by the press and Papa Hooda to save his reputation forces them to get married? So, many questions and possibilities!
Mahi, I have to say one of the stupidest villains I have seen. If she was smart she wouldn't be hoping to shut this company down for insurance money. She would work to throw Zoya out, make the company profitable and become rich that way. This insurance fraud that she is trying is always going to fail. Not to mention her own mother seems wary of her now. I won't be surprised if it comes out that Mahi murdered Yash for the property and money. I still don't understand why Mahi ever thought that she was entitled to ANY of her brother's money and property.
