You've done justice to him..Adi..Adi..It's always a treat to read his feelings and thought processes..The man never stops to amaze me..Being it, anything he feels it with whole heart and made me feel that too..
His head is on anything and everything about his past , present and future..The past, the regret , life in Ahola, Not done the once dreams, missing simple life,his equation with family and friends And the most regarding Zoya-all the feelings are well written..

He just covered his old self whom wanting to be wanted by friends, whom wanted a simple sweet life with Zoya with his ambitious lawyer job with this mask to prevent himself from getting hurt..But now he realized that it's not him who needed protection from the unpleasant things but Zoya, his love..And the regret of not being with her in the weakest days made him rebel against Arjun..That's the combo of helpless regret and insane jealousy..haha..Bring it on Adi..

Zoya's case details didn't click in my over-enjoying mind because of Adi..
And the last scene is so emotional..You know I do-Come here for a hug both of you Adi and Zoya..You both are making me emotional..
I'm so eager to read further..

There is repeated comment in Aditya's pov where he refers to Zoya - tight little body, sinful mouth, the things I would like to do, seeing her make him hard and think about sex etc. No doubt he loves her, but if we go back and read parts where both are in college and things were normal, there is an innocence which is lost in Adi. Is it because he's older and due to her he now sees women as a commodity for sex, or the lust and desire overpowering everything? When I read the update where he finds out about her witness protection angle, the expectation is like he may get emotional for the lost moments and mistakes on their part and try to fix things, but he lashes out and then overpowers her by kiss. Just like he does every time. Is it the obvious change you want to show in him or it's his mind which is very twisted due to years of trauma due to his father and Zoya?

And Zoya , the last line was shocking. She spent days resisting him and trying to stay away, and now she just give up? Or is it like I love you but I can't be with you? Would love a pov from her side now that a lot of things are going on- her confession, Arjun (BTW did she answer to his ILU?), Harsh and the project and of course Aditya.

I can imagine how challenging it must have been to make your main character self reflect and go through the motions of analysing his past mistakes and making plans for his future and his self improvement. The vulnerability that Zoya revealed at the end by admitting that she loves him despite how badly he has handled himself or behaved with her was so touching, if that doesn't break our Adit I don't know what well. Looking forward to more...!🤗

Aditya's emotions are all over the place and somehow I enjoyed it. You described them perfectly.

I am still trying to wrap my head around Zoya being a witness to a murder case but I'll wait till you reveal the whole story, that bit kind of confused me. But I was so engaged on how Aditya was feeling and so engulfed in his emotions, I did not even bother much about that part.

This chapter also kinds of gives a little peek into Zoya's feeling when she saisD"you know I DO"- it must be so hard for her.

Beautiful story and you are an exceptional writer. Truly enjoy reading your story. Thanks for the PM and yes, looking forward to the next chapter.

As you said yourself if you read the college parts, there was an innocence to him which isn't anymore. I hope you have read a Three Shot I wrote based on Toxic. It will give you a better idea of what Aditya and Zoya were before. You see, Aditya was looking for a new lease of life in New York - away from Meridian Corp and Harshvardhan Hooda and he did get it for some time in form of Zoya. He was running away from the very thing he is right now - gluttony, greed and corporate culture. The guy wanted to be a human rights lawyer. But, when he became aware about Zoya's pregnancy - he was ready to give up all of that. Just for Zoya. He was ready to go back to Meridian Corp - he even talked to his father and informed him about Zoya's pregnancy and bought her a diamond ring. Basically he was all set to sacrifice himself for the love of his life. Because for him Zoya was a priority everything else - even himself - came second. And then - SHE DUMPED HIM !

He lived EIGHT years blaming Zoya for derailing his life - be it his career or his love. For Aditya Hooda, the heir to Meridian Corp being so public about his jealousy is a big thing. Remember how he didn't care about Ramona and dropped her like a hot potato when she informed him about her upcoming nuptials. If you read Chapter 11 again - he says that I hate complications and you just became one. So tata bye-bye. Have a good life !

But, with Zoya even though he dislikes her, he is ready to stoop to background investigation, calling in a big favor from Pramod Mehta , forcing her to stay in Aloha by making her the Chief architect. In his own twisted way he still cares for her. Because if not, he wouldn't look back once - someone's career got destroyed ! Meridian Corp's future CEO doesn't have time for such little things.

Regarding the objectification thing - yes, that is deliberate. Because Aditya Hooda is NOT Adi.

Adi's love was pure and innocent. Aditya Hooda's middle name is complication. Adi was ready to sacrifice himself for Zoya. Aditya Hooda would sacrifice the world for Zoya. There is a difference. In a nutshell, I don't believe that anyone could press the 'Rewind' button on themselves just because they got to know that they were destroyed for a reason. Even if Zoya's reason was valid, she DID flip around Aditya's life. Aditya sympathizes with her but that doesn't mean that he doesn't blame her. Aditya spent EIGHT years in meaningless relationships and hookup's - it would be unreasonable to show a sudden LOVEY DOVEY awakening in such a roughened soul. Don't you think ?

Regarding Zoya - the next update is gonna be about her. You will get all the answers to your questions.

And lastly - this is my first story which involves such damaged characters. I try my level best to do justice to their POV's but who knows if I am doing a decent job 😆

This Aditya is so harsh, sometimes it's hard to imagine he does love her in his twisted way. Maybe it's all lust and rage in his part, maybe the love is dead. There was a line when he made Zoya stay in company - better to be seen as s**t than being jobless. Does he really not care what people think of her? In the update when he confronted her about being missing for 8 years he said he's done running after her, she needs to win him back. Why he thinks she's even trying to win him back? Maybe just like him she's also into the lust and desire thing. Did he ever think maybe she's over him, or the sex makes him think she cares about him? It's like he wants her to stay to torture her. Is he over the blaming and anger, and if not then when he will be?

Wasn't expecting a sudden flood of emotional outburst from him to be honest. Maybe a bit tender. Or maybe it's just that show Adi even in his lowest point is so caring and has a bit humanity- like when he resented Zoya he did save her life during riots and told her he will stay with her. This Adi doesn't seem to have. That Ramona update was so twisted- I kept hoping maybe there will be a moment he will pause and think but he was so cold . In Aditya's word, Zoya really did a number on him

You are doing amazing. You made the readers think, which is probably what a writer wants, to make the readers think. And I apologise, didn't read the three shot you are talking about. Can you post a link?
