The police inspector shows a photograph where Aditya and Yash were at the same party.
Now if two people are at one place, it doesn't necessarily mean that they know each other or have met before. Or even during the party.
So Yash and Aditya didn't meet at the party but what if Yash and Pooja did?
Maybe it was this party where they discovered each other? Now that doesn't mean they started the affair right there. They just met and talked.
Also we don't know how old that picture is.
