The only reason fans prefer Bilal over Rehan is because of those kids. We cannot stand how they are portrayed but unfortunately Bilal is not much of a better option. Zarina becomes her saas, Suraiya is there her her life is basically doomed from there with no way out. All the more reason to introduce a twist during the nikaah itself and save these poor souls from more sufferings. Fate has to be on their side.

Right like them suffering for a year isn't that punishment enough? Zain thinking that he lost Aaliya forever to another man..wasn't that enough? If Zaya had to be punished again then why separate them for a year that's my question to the CVs!! I do not see the logic to that!! They could have just shown a 4 months or 6 months leap. Why a whole year?!

My thoughts exactly.. I agree for the romantic notion I don't want to see ZaYa married to anyone else but only each other BUT this other option doesn't makes sense either.. WHAT will you show once Aaliya gets married to someone else?

Exactly, CVs could have shown Zain and Aaliya both married to other people and then getting a divorce that was not intentional. It could have worked but they went this route, why? What gives? You have conveyed the message you wanted to, so do not contradict it by dragging on one sin to another.
