they had potential but now with the gauhar shadow always looming around them and how their actions affected zaya not so much. They can redeem themselves if they help zaya out and expose the bad guys but there is still the gauhar issue looming. No matter how she was in the past she is also a victim and most importantly her baby who needs all the adults in its life rizwan, gauhar and now ayat to be responsible and reach a mature understanding.
