However, I just feel Aliya has been so stubborn recently.
Usmaan sahab is getting treated by an international medical professional. He is being provided a high standard of care. It's great that she went ahead and suggested an alternative treatment. However, her family didn't agree with this option. Am I the only one who thinks it's just crossing a limit to go behind the entire family's wishes and secretly give her father-in-law this treatment? Would you not be angry if you found out a trusted member of your family was secretly giving questionable medications to a seriously ill member of your family? Particularly a person who can't even move or speak for himself.
The same thing goes for the Ayat/Gauhar/Rizwan scenario. It's one thing to bring the truth out about Rizwan and Gauhar to everyone in the family and prevent her sister's engagement. However, it's a totally different level to become hell-bent on wanting Rizwan and Gauhar married. It's great she protected her sister from potential future pain and heartbreak. But Rizwan and Gauhar are individuals with their own choice. They have the right to decide if they want to get married or how to raise their baby (if there is an actual baby).
I guess I am just not too into seeing another typical female lead who thinks she is always right. And it's obvious why Aliya is the way she is. Her parents are her biggest enablers. They always tell her she is right.
I am glad Aliya did acknowledge her responsibility today in this entire scenario. In the end, I am rooting for Zain and Aliya. I hope they are able to sort everything out and Surraiya's truth is brought out.
