Zain: come on Aaliya this is not a time to back down.
Aaliya: no Zain I don't think I will be able to go in there. I am scared of blood Zain. why cant you get that?
Zain: I know Aaliya. But for the sake of our baby. Please come na.
Aaliya touched her big puffy fat belly and rubbed it with all her love. Zain smiled.
Zain: come on Aaliya. U have been waiting for this day for months.
Aaliya: I know Zain. I was really excited when I came here but now I-
Zain: cant do it?
Aaliya: exactly. You know how it feels Zain.
Zain: what the hell do you mean? I have never been a mother you get it?
He said loosing his patience.
Aaliya: you know I didn't meant that Zain.
Zain cooled down and kneeled near to her wheelchair where she was sitting.
Zain: Aaliya this is our baby. You have to do this.
Zain held her hand and kissed it. Then kissed her forehead. She smiled too.
Zain: so are you ready?
Aaliya nodded. She was taken inside. The doctor was present there. Aaliya was made to lay down and the doctor rubbed a gel on her belly and placed a thing. And there. The ultrasound image of their baby was clear. That brought tears in her eyes. She smiled and looked at that image.
Doctor: you can call your husband now.
Zain was called inside and the moment he saw it he stopped. It was his baby! HIS baby. THEIR baby! He went near Aaliya and held her hand.
Doctor: you see that-
She said pointing towards a thing in the image.
Doctor: that little thing which appears to be moving is your baby's heart.
Aaliya started crying. Zain too tried really hard to stop his tears but couldn't.
Doctor: The baby has not fully grown. But the heart has started to beat. Would you like to have a copy of it?
Zain & Aaliya: YES!
Both said at the same time and looked at each other and smiled. The doctor smiled too.
Doctor: seems you both are pretty excited about the baby.
They both smiled.
After coming out of the doctor's office Zain held Aaliya's hand and the other hand on her waist to help her and support her to walk. They both were looking at each and smiled. Then they went home and Zain helped Aaliya lay down. Zain changed himself and was feeling tired too so they both slept with Aaliya closer to Zain.
It was around 12:30 am. they both were sleeping peacefully. But suddenly Aaliya woke up. She wasn't feeling well and she puked. Zain woke up too and went behind her.
Zain: r u okay dear?
Aaliya: ya I think so. Why are you awake?
Zain: because you are. Now come.
He took Aaliya out of the washroom and then laid her on the bed and then sat beside her. She lifted her head and kept it on Zain's lap and he smiled. He pushed back the strands of her hair and played with her hair.
Aaliya: I love you more than anything Zain!
Zain: Me too Aaliya!
Aaliya soon fall asleep and Zain let her head back on her pillow and laid down beside her and kissed her forehead and admired her while she slept.
Zain: good night princess.
