See this would be a great time for Zain to stand up for her, yell that she is his wife. and when Suraiya questions why he is siding with her when he never wanted this marriage, he should yell because I Love Her.

Suraiyaa is a mother after all and that love for her child is not going to fade by any time soon. She has spent 20 years without her and she was aleays emotionally invested in her. When bobby came she filled the vaccum for Siraiyaa and obviously it is not easy to let go of your emotions so quickly.
