Is just so freakin good.
I can't. EVEN. BEGIN.
Initially I wasn't going to watch it. I was like no. NOPE. No-sir-ee. No more "seemingly promising" shows that end in abysmal disappointment.
But then, I saw a VM of the couple. Then I listened to the title track. Then I spent an entire day off (I was really sick might I add) watching Beintehaa back to back to back to back to (you get the point).
And I don't know where to start.
The nikhaah scene. Zain.
You know the grey tragic hero, the overused really cliched "hero." The total asshole that everyone's fine with 'cause he's hot?
Zain's not him. He's a developed character, and I love how they didn't jump on the bandwagon of "asshole-but-hot-heros." You sort of feel for him during the Nikhaa. Yes his direction in life was lost, but this, having to get married for your family's happiness. The helplessness he felt, the tragedy she felt, and how they ended up finding confidants in each other throughout the journey.
It's just so beautiful. And everything about they show is beautiful. And I trust the creators of this show (matlab: It ain't 4Lions) and THE ACTORS KNOW HOW TO ACT and the director can direct and the writers can write dialogues. It's just wonderful! (Except for the misplaced song sequences, yeah I noticed that too, don't worry. But I don't care that much, music all day erry day)
AND one thing I LOVE the most is that the two leads will call each other out if they think one is bullshitting the other. And they aren't oblivious.
I can't say enough. I love this show so much. This show deserves an active forum like the IPKKND forum once used to be.
So now that I have officially arrived, I ask you fellow BI-forumwaasis--Where's the party tonight?
Seriously this show is so awesome we need to revive this desert forum.
LOADS OF LOVE,
Shweta
(PS. I know I'm rambling, excuse me I'm normally not like this. It's just, when I really really really like and care and am excited about something, this happens.)
