"Aliya has left the house Usman Saab. Just like that without informing anyone, like a thief she left the house in the middle of the night. Your bhanji herself broke all the
promises that she made. You used to say that you were have complete faith in Zain and Aliya, that one day that they'll work it out. Can you say the same thing now?
I told you that we should end this relationship as no one is happy with it..see what it has come to now.." Surraiya kept going on.
Usman couldn't believe what he was hearing from his wife. He clearly remembered how Aliya had promised him that she's fine and that she was going to write her
marriage's story. After all that has happened, he thought that Aliya and Zain were coming closer, of course they still fight but even in their fights anyone
can see their closeness. So what's going on now? How did it come to this? thought Usman sadly. The pain he was feeling in his heart right now was beyond measure.
But if both Aliya and Zain, his two most beloved treasure, aren't happy in this relationship, then he wasn't going to force them; Usman decided.
"And Usman Saab, how ungrateful of her to leave like this after all that Zain has done for her-"
"Surraiya Begum, if whatever you have just said about Aliya leaving is true, then I'm ready to let Aliya and Zain get a divorce," said Usman with a heavy heart.
A wide smile spread across Surraya's, Shazia's and Nafesaa's face. Fahad and Rizwan couldn't believe their ears and were extremely sad at the happenings. Usman turned around to go back to his room when they all heard some footsteps and two people bickering.
"You know always call me an idiot, but today you proved that you are an even bigger idiot than me!" Zain taunted Aliya. " If you were going to do this whole drama, then couldn't you do it during the day. But no you just had to do it at night and ruin our sleep."
"well who told you to wake up and come to stop me. you could have just kept sleeping if your sleep means so much to you" retorted Aliya. She knew that he had a point
but there was no way she was going to let him win.
Zain was about to reply back to her when Surraiya interrupted.
"What is going on here? Aliya didn't you leave the house?" exclaimed Surraiya. She couldn't believe that this girl was back in her house after all that it took
to finally get her to leave on her own. And she wasn't about to let her come back when Usman saab has finally agreed to let Zain and Aliya to divorce.
"Woh Mami.." Aliya stumbled for words as she didn't know what to say or how to handle this situation.
"Don't lie Aliya. I read your letter in which you clearly said that you were leaving Zain forever!", shouted Surraiya.
Aliya was speechless and all she could do was turn and look at Zain helplessly. By looking into her eyes that's now starting to brim with tears, Zain understood that it's up to him to smother this situation now as this Mamu Ki Rondu Bhanji has turned from a sherni and into a little mouse at the moment.
"Woh Mom, it looks like you all have misunderstood this letter." Zain started
"Misunderstood? huh there's nothing to misunderstand about this Zain, she clearly wrote that she's leaving you forever" stated Surraiya harshly.
"Yes, she did and I'm not denying that. But she only said it as a threat to scare me, not for real", explained Zain as a brilliant idea came in his mind.
"A threat?", asked Usman curiouly," why does she need to threaten you?"
"Well you see dad, since she has taken such good care of me after the accident I had promised her that I would take her out and treat her to ice-cream but well I wasn't in the mood to go out today so I refused. But your bhanji wouldn't take no for an answer. She said that she doesn't trust me and she was sure that I was going to find another excuse to not take her out again,that's why she threatened me" finished Zain cheekily. He could feel the holes that Aliya was drilling in
him with her angry glare but he just ignored it.
Everyone turned their heads to Aliya. Aliya couldn't believe the rubbish story that Zain just made about her, she felt like she could die out of embarrassment right now.
"Aliya beta, is this true?", questioned Usman.
"Whether it is true or not, that doesn't matter Usman saab. Aliya what kind of behaviour is this? If you had to threaten Zain, then couldn't you find anything else to threaten him with? Is Nikaah a joke to you?" Surraiya raged on. She couldn't afford to lose this chance. All her plans have failed so far, and this one was so close to succeed, so she wasn't about let go! not a chance!.
"You're right Mami, Nikaah is not a joke. But what else could I threaten him with?" Aliya turned to Zain and kept on talking." That I won't ever cook for him?
He'd probably say that he's not going to die out of hunger if he doesn't eat food made by me. What else could I say? That I won't ever talk to him? He'd probably say that I'd be saving his ears from exploding. So you see except for this I had nothing serious enough to threaten him with that he would get scared and come after me. And of course, I took my trunk so that my threat would seem real." Aliya finished triumphly while Zain watched her in surprise and Surraiya was left dumbfounded.
Usman, Fahad and Rizwan couldn't help but smile in amusement at these two's silly banter while Surraiya and her two bahus were fuming in rage and disapointment.
"Dad I'm sorry that because of our fight, your sleep was disrupted. Please forgive us, we never meant for it to go this far." Zain added.
" No no beta, it's okay. I'm just happy to see you two together" Usman said with a huge burden and sadness leaving his chest and replaced with relief and happiness as his faith in them has been renewed once again.
"Now come on it's very late. Everyone please go to bed" Usman ordered. Everyone quietly nodded and went to their respective rooms.
