I am not at all surprised by the fact that zain and aliya are cousins who are also 'would be lovers'.
But I hadn't seen this ever in Indian television before.
Maybe because there were few muslim based shows like heena and qh. Or maybe I missed this somewhere.
I just wanted to ask if this kind marriage is practiced in muslim community.
Because in my country certain communities practice this (not mine). Its called mama chelo(son) phupu cheli(daughter).

Yes Marrying Mamas daughter and Buwa;s daughter are allowed...

MArriage is allowed also in some hingu If the parents of bride and groom are are brother sister... That is the reason it is mostly shown brides mom always call grooms father bhai sahab.

But the parents of cousins are both brother or both are sister then the marriage is not allowed. It is not allowed in hindu I am not sure if it is allowed in Islam
