Can someone explain to me why Karan is trying to get revenge on the sisters?

I hate how the show is going now.
I wanted to watch Purva and Mehir's love deepen but of course there is always some crap distancing the two. I really dislike how Anhoki and Akashi are now distanced from each other and Smriti/ Aastha needs to see who Karan really is. But I need someone to explain why Karan is doing what he's doing.

however it will be bareeee annoying to see the triangle of smriti-purva-mihir

Karan's mother had been put out of the behenein's house for some reason....Feels like she was the servant in their house and the reason why she has been thrown out is related to the sisters....The reason is yet to be revealed....Infact I loved Mihir-Smriti and Purva-Amar but they broke up the pairs and Mihir was then married to Purva.Now a love triangle will begin when everyone realize Aastha is Smriti....But really feel bad for Smriti....She hadn't experienced any happiness in her married life...Her MIL always tortured her for the reason that her son loved his wife more than her....She married Karan to save her sister's married life....Now she is facing such a critical situation......I definetely want Prem to be with his mother, Smriti as he is the only sort of solace for her😊
