Well these pics reflect their utter dependence on their mum, and give weight to their need for vengeance albeit as twisted as it is yet from their POV this is justified. I remember this scene and it was one of those rare ones that indicate their more sensitive, sentimental side and how they can appear so lost when their mum is taken away from their midst. It really shed light on how they are truly at heart quite helpless, like lost cubs (thankyou Cat!) without their mum to pull the strings.
