is it kinda misogynistic that the "downfall" of begusarai will start because of two women? any views? is the joru screwing it all up overrated, or is it the reality which pre existed from the times of mahabharat..? not a feminist - but still - just food for thought kinda..🤓

I loved what Bindiya told Poonam! She knows her marriage has been fixed, she is not happy about the alliance but refuses to do anything about it. And on the other side she keeps eyeing Priyom. Does she not see how this can escalate the situation in the future?

Bindiya was right about her, marriage fixed with one brother, whilst she is eyeing another brother. (Side mein)- Poonam's character needs developing before the audience start disliking her.

I personally do not give two rats about the love story. I was a Priyom and Poonam shipper initially, but seeing how Poonam's character is being depicted. I no longer like her. (Until she opens her mouth that is).I am more interested in the Big Boss himself but alas he is being treated as a sidey which is fine as they are developing the main plot of how a woman can destroy everything.😆😆

Poonam is used to living like that .She doesnt even share her feelings with her mother,she is conditioned to live like that.Bottom of heart,she has her angel priyom to save her from the situation.

You are right about her being conditioned to live in that manner but at the same time, she becomes a free-bird in the company of Priyom which tells me she can open up in front of Laakhan but she chooses not to as she believes it will be the same relationship her father and mother share. And if she took a bit of time out and saw things from a neutral POV instead of thinking I want Priyom only, she would have realised that despite Lakhan being impulsive and sometimes repulsive, he does have a tiny bit of care for her hence why he agreed for her to go to college. But she refuses to make an effort.

Additionally, she has no issues taunting someone like Bindiya who has done nothing wrong towards her. She only taunts her out of jealousy. Which again tells me Poonam can speak if she wants to. But she doesnt because she wants everyone to think she is an innocent abla naari.

Poonam and Bindiya's scene:

Bindiya tried to get Poonam to ask Badi Amma to allow her to stand longer: Poonam confronts her about her relationship with Mithilesh saying she is breaking Maya's marriage.

Bindiya is pissed off and then she begins to taunt Poonam saying Lakhan too gets hungry so how come Poonam is only interested in satisfying Priyom's hunger by making food for him and not her soon to be husband. She then tells her how she always bows down to Lakhan but has no issues in giving eye contact to Priyom etc She ends their convo by telling her to go and make halwa for Priyom😆

Precap: Priyom is told to behave himself near Poonam as she is going to be someone else's wife soon.

Ok i understand your POV and poonam becomes a free bird infront of priyom which means she can talk ,to this my reply is that every human becomes a free bird infront of someone,if no one then god ,talks to ownself ,poonam is lucky to have priyom around her,

Poonam's father is Manjita and he works Phulan Thakur. If Poonam tries to do anaything about her crush for Priyom, Majita will chop her into pieces and throw them to the dogs. Phulan will probably ask him to chop Priyom too. Poonam doesnt belong to some everyday middle class family where she can openly declare her love and refuse marry her betrothed.

Poonam has never opened her mouth in front of her Lakhan and Priyom has already told us the reason for it. She is scared of him, the moment she sees him, she enters her shell. He stalks her since childhood and never gave her breathing space. She always had fear of him in her eyes. The only truth for her is that it has been decided she is to be Lakhan's wife and its written in stone. How should we blame her if her heart did not accept this truth and she fell for Priyom? She has probably not even realised she harbours those feelings for Priyom. Its ridiculous to expect that she can take any step right now regarding it.Its not like she is having raging affair behind Lakhan's back. Bindiya is the one to talk.

I agree with @tanvismile. My understanding (from the promos and the episodes till date) is that the main story is about how Phulan Thakur combats and subsequently succeeds (or fails) to keep his empire and family intact, when faced with this unprecedented "joru" affairs/politics; which would invariably threaten his family's unity, if not breaking it altogether. Whatever love-stories are there would be the sub-plots of this main plot, contributing to the fiasco even more.

I really hope our understanding is correct; and the main story-line & characterizations are not butchered in future in order to accommodate love-stories.

I loved yest epi... bindiya twisted the tale..now game is started..
When mithilesh will come to know about poonam taunts bindiya on mithilesh..then mithilesh will blast laakha as his joru taunts mithu who thinks himself raja..and poonam who is happy to see laalhan's care for first time will go in drain as laakhan will agai acts like bailbhuddhi ..and they have to take priyom in picture too... so this bound to happen..
poonnam' half truth and bindiya masala started joru game and downfall of thakur brothers too
