I agree with your review except the fact that you are endorsing "slapping of a wife by husband. "
I am against any kind of physical abuse against women and slapping is definitely a physical abuse.
Glorifying husband-rendered "slaps " in serials ( Balaji is famous for slaps) and movies keep us Indians under the impression that husbands are masters of wives and have every right to slap wives for their misdoings.
Sunaina even I m against physical abuse..and no way I can endorse such acts as a married woman myself👎🏼...when such things r shown on other shows like Jyoti and many other serials its disgusts me and I try staying away from such shows..
But Kunal's slapping act was not a physical abuse from any angle...I tell u why..during our childhood if our mother slaps us for doing anything wrong..we try to rectify our mistake because we know our mother is an elderly person and her slap shows her love and concern for us😳..similarly Kunal is an elderly person and we know the age gap between Mooli and Kunal..so his slap was more like the slap of a concerned husband who is extremely hurt to see his wife seeking help from a driver when he loves her so deeply..
Also Mooli's act of taking off her saree and trying to project herself like a piece of flesh thus insulting the institution of marriage and trying to prove that a wife's duty is just to satisfy her hubby physically was also in extremely bad taste because she was there trying to endorse marriage as a give and take deal of flesh..still Kunal controlled his anger there and just tried to make her understand the real meaning of marriage..so his explanation phase was over in that episode only..
but today Mooli once again broke his trust by lieing to him and then going to Veeru for help at midnight..so in this situation Cola's slap is totally justified...he was completely broken from inside and was feeling like a loser in this marriage..
I will say if Mooli's saree taking off act was justified in that episode..then today even Cola's slapping act is justified...
At the end of the day if one slap can bring KuLi together..then why not...😉..after all we need to look at the situation too and then decide if this slap is really endorsing physical abuse or not😳..
One more thing..as far as I know in majority of BT soaps..its the heroines who most of the time slaps the hero thus physically abusing them😆..see how many times Anurag got slapped by Prerna..or Angad got slapped by Kripa or Arjun got slapped by Arohi...list is endless😆😆..
thats why never look for ligcs in BT soaps😆
