I don't think his subconscious mind and his stubbornness would ever allow him to see Bon like that. She will always be a child to him. I think that's where this Vyjayanthi angle comes along. She is someone he can fall in love with without felling guilty.

I doubt vyjayanthi angle will be dragged to much or Anirudh will fall 4 her but bondita will keep reminding him about their past relationship , I feel she will be caught that might engrage anirudh more but he will definitely start softening
