I don't know what type of logic the creatives r using in portraying the ch.of Amar.In Sam and Kamna's engagement party Amar says that there r two imp.ladies in his life,first he takes Sin's name and then he takes Div's name.Ok atleast he took Div's name though in the second place.But why Sin's name?There is his real mother,mother of prev.birth(ok he can't relate to her as he doesn't remember his past) but then there is his mother who brought him up.He could have called his foster parents from Benares for the occassion and then taken her name.But why Sin?
