Unhappy In todays episode the scene b/w AD lacked the intensity and warmth of the scenes b/w SV.
To me it seemed as if Sharad was forcing himself to say the lines and Divz expressions are not that much better ( although better than Amar's)
The reason I say this with so much conviction is becoz I am currently watching the show from the beginning ( thnx to the archived videos and whoever put them there). I am at the point in the story where Vidya becomes literate and finally Sagar accepts her. My GOD! the love scenes b/w them in these episodes are sizzling with chemistry. Its almost as if they really are saying those lines to each other and meaning every word literally. The expressions in their dialogue delivery and their eyes and the way they touch each other, hold hands or hug is awesome and so so beautiful. Great acting if thats what it really is!!
Now in the current episodes like today's.... Amar does not have the same intensity or feeling in is lines or expressions. Its almost as if he is bored of doing the scenes so does not put in much effort. I do know that he is not Sagar and Amar has a different personality but this same Amar/ Divya did the romantic scenes better in Benaras. There was more love depicted in their scenes.
In today's epispde when he was telling Divz that the most important thing b/w them is their love for each other and even if they get angry with each other their love will not change etc etc... The look in his eyes did not seem to convey the love he was talking about. Compare that to the scene during the SR where he asks for more time and says that he cannot imagine that someone can love him so much.......
The way he looked at Vidz and the emotion with which he said those lines was awesome.... so much feeling and love.. it lit the screen on fire.....
So where has all that fire gone NOW?

I think that besides us viewers now AD have also got bored with Amar acting as the same old dumb Sagar and as Sin's yes-man without any logic.May be he wants the producers of the serial to show him a bit smarter,a little bit different from Sagar.May be Sharad is now afraid of his image cause he may be typed as dumb.Sleepy

Oh I can't say that I feel the same way because I still remember how Amar suddenly changed his expression to talk about 'love' and it made me tingle inside. AD are not SV so their body language and mannerisms have to be different, they won't get emotional and teary as quickly SV. Anyhooo...

I want to agree with gr8love on this and I felt the same way today. I felt the chemistry was missing in today's episode and I couldn't figure why. Amar's dialogues sounded pretty emotionless to me. Though I thought that yesterday's episode (when Chintu interrupts) was very well done.

I wonder if all these problems in the production unit are having a negative effect on their performance. I will feel very sad if that is the case.

I think creatives are also to blame for portraying such an image of Amar.. of enacting Sindoora's yes-man always... And probably even Sharad is tired of that...

True that about Amar. He is doing whatever Sagar did before and I don't think its fair on Sharad.
Anyway, I hope todays scene is nice (where end of yesterdays episode left) :)

Hey Guys,

I am not blaming Sharad, I know he is a great actor and I simply adore him....
I am just constructively critisizing the way the storyline is dragging. I am sure the lead pair is quite tired of doing the same type of scenes over and over again. How many times have we seen a similar type scene b/w SV or AD in this serial...a gazillion times. Its the same type of dialogue and same actions... holding her face , kissing her forehead....hugging. I am sure both Sharad and Divyanka are kinda tired of this same ghissa pitta scene. So now the creatives need to think up of some new scenes and new ways for AD to express love. Maybe Amar is tired of being the benarsi babu and Sin's yes man!
A little change in is personality and his love making techniques would really boost the ratings and make us fans of BMTD so so much more happier!
Creatives/ Sharad / Divyanka hope you are reading this.

Excitement mein double post hogaya kya??
I agree. Why do they have to similar scenes?? Once again AD are not shown to come close, at least SV had reasons (well Sagar did) but the writers are not even bothering to show some proper romantic scenes and it bugs me because SD are such a young, sexy, hot couple but Dulhann's storyline can be so dull at times.

Uff...I can't edit but I meant to say 'have to have'. I think the problem is the time slot and its target audience. The scenes are usually innocent and cute because the smaller towns would have objections to 'hot' scenes. This is the reason why SV/AD are more popular with the aunties than the youth but I want SD in an youthful venture after BMTD.

Yes Reemz. I agree about the small towns and the aunties.

But you know my neighbors mom.in law ( very traditional gujarati lady) who is 65 yrs old made a comment about how they always show them holding hands and face only. She said" AAJ KE ZAMAANE MEIN LADKA LADKI SIRF HATH KOI PAKADTE HEIN AUR BAHUT KUCH KARTE HAIN. YEH KYA HAME BUDDHU SOCHTE HAIN"
I was stunned to hear her say this, Their whole family is a BMTD fan.
So I am sure with the changing times in India, the aunites and the small town women have progressed and are open to see some real romance!!

True some of the aunties have progressed but still I think mostly the majority of the oldies are conservatives and orthodox....

And besides I think Sharad is a little sel-conscious to do scenes that are extremely ahem ahem....if you know what I mean...but I too would def want to see some more romance or close-ness between A-D the way they show in other shows...
