Slightly inconsiderate...

It just hit me that while we are dissing Amar for being so unromantic after the wedding, no-one has bothered to think how he would be feeling right now. He recently found out that his Benerasi parents are not his bloody family and the guy who swapped him as a baby was his own Dad! He was bitter towards him and rightly so but can you imagine the remorse and guilt he must be feeling at the moment? He couldn't even call him 'Dad' or reconcile with him. That is a big BLOW for anyone...so how can we even think of expecting any sort of romance? We can wait for AD scenes, there is plenty of time for that but it wouldn't be appropriate to expect Amar to show those kind of lovey-dovey expressions. Its just not right...!

Plus when they move in together then at least it will be in SVs room and not one of the crappy ones they are occupying right now.

It is understandable if he doesn't want to bestow affection to his wife at the moment, and he may well be concerned about her health too, but why sleep in a separate room? Its not that Divz wouldn't understand his situation and push herself on him??

I think, like a normal couple, they should discuss his unfortunate situation lying on the same bed while Divz gives him all the courage and strength to hang in there...

Romance can take many forms...

Yes you are right- I never have expected any 'romance' between the two after such a tragedy as Rajeev's death. My opinion was that it has seemed a little odd that they have not comforted each other as the usual SV/AD would have done- not in a romantic way but a simple hug or supportive conversations (they used to have a lot of). 😳 I think it's these little things when they are missing- it makes a difference. Any romantic AD scenes I think is a bit far off as it is not the appropriate time.

I still don't understand the seperate room business and its more so because no-one has given any explanation to the audience as to why they are living seperately.

Nishi, I don't know...Divya can be quite violent, who knows...she may just attack Amar in the room! Haha, just kidding. 😛

Hmm, Sahar you're right. I think one scene where Amar maybe sobs in front of Divya while she comforts him would be enough. I'm sure he wants to talk to someone and it should be Divya! Maybe after he comes from Haridwar, Amar could breakdown in front of her.

Exactly Reemz, it's because Amar hasnt openly confessed out those feelings that we tend to forget what has happened to him... i do agree, I wish for a scene where he breaks down in front of Divya.. because i know that scene would be so beautifully done by the both of them! I think he will express his feelings though, actually... it only makes sense, doesnt it? But we'll hv to wait for that I'm sure, cos now theyre focusing on Divya-Sindoora... or so it seems, for sometime. Hmmmmm!

Well articulated Reema..very well written. Its been only a cpl of days (serial time) since his father passed away.

But remember before the kissing scene, when Divz read Amar's mind about why he was so uncomfortable around everyone? THAT type of sensitivity is what has been missing since Rajiv died. But then, Divz has been so preoccupied with her visions that she hasn't had time to console Amar, na? (She tries to pray for him..and collapsed instead! 😆 )
