It is definete now that Amar is not a dimwit but the limit !

I am sorry to say this but I must ask all the AD fans out there one question . Am I the only one who sees a strong similiarity between him and Chachaji nowdays where Sindura is concerned ? The same fawning expression on the face , the same joined hands and a smile so beatific that it makes the viewers get that feeling one gets after over eating chocolates ? That they simply simply cannot pop another chocolate in their mouth now for life ? I mean honestly , Chachaji looked like that some days ago ! Even he has sobered up and clapped enthusiastically for the engagement today !

So ok , he gives cold looks of hatred to Rajeev , unwillingly bends to touch his feet .....yes , he doesnt know the real reason for the exchange , but he forgets he is getting engaged to Divya coz Rajeev made that phone call and sent him to Shimla to stop the marraige ? He falls at Sindura's feet but forgets that the mysterious bracelet that suddenly appeared in his pocket ? He claims love for his parents in Benares and does not bother to even inform them he is getting engaged.....ecactly when was he planning to spring it on them ? And the limit is that he goes and confides what his fiancee tells him to Sindura , an outsider , without even asking his fiancee if its okay to tell it to Sindura ?

Of course this is a serial but I wudnt mind to see a twist thrown in where Divya dumps him for a while only to knock sum sense in his budhdhu head ....u know , the typical woman way of teaching an idiotic fiancee !😆

You know there have been numerous posts on Amar's idiocy today yet I still don't feel that I've vented my frustration out enough.

When Divya told him about the car and her dreams, she was blatantly anxious and she told him in CONFIDENCE. For some reason or the other she doubts Sindoora for chasing/killing them. Why is it so hard for Amar to understand that Divya is having this weird visions just like HE DID!

Uff, the way he told Sindoora as if he thought Divya was a madcap...really really ANNOYED the hell out of me. You love the damn girl and this how you show it??

Reemz i really hope for such a twist . Last janam Vidya worshipped him too much to put her foot down even when he was wrong . But I wud really like to see as a viewer Divya asking him some real sharp questions. Like , did u even bother to ask if it was ok with me before going and blabbing to sumone else what i told u confidentially as a lover ....thinking only ur my own ??? This is an insult to our love ! I really really wish she shows sum spirit and pulls him up from time to time . Like she did in the beginning .

i somehow feel that the writers don't give male protagonists strong enough roles in these dramas. it's like, in order for vidz/divz to be strong, they have to give sagar/amar a major flaw (naive/budhoo). is it too hard to have BOTH Divz and Amar be strong characters??

If I were writing Amar's character, I would have him mistrust EVERY member of the Singh family including Sin. Why have they turned him into a buffoon suddenly...out of the blue?? I just don't buy it.

tulli ....u said it perfectly . I can understand Amar;s distrust of Rajeev if he hates everyone in the Singh family equally for plating with his life . I mean , he cud have asked Sindura a simple question ....u seem to know everything too , why didnt u come forward and tell me then , why were u getting Divya married to Samrat ? If u knew everything , how come u watched Samrat kicking the asli waaris out of the house so calmly ? Im telling u , Amar;s behaviour doesnt make sense !

You know people kept thinking Amar is last janam's Vidya and Divya is Sagar. But Vidya displayed trust, immense love (which he does too), and complete confidentiality with her husband. When people thought she needed etiquette, it was minor things like how to behave in front of so called "elites", how to eat with silverware, etc. But the kind of manners Amar needs is much more difficult to attain. He needs to learn how to treat his loved ones - how to maintain their trust and confidentiality. I'm so annoyed with his character now

😆 inavars how true ! This has nothing to do with being a villager ....even a rustic farmer treats his wife with utmost respect .....thats the reason I said he has to be dumped for a while .

It actually really bothered me when he was talking to Sindoora as if he is gossiping about Divya. It just seemed so weird and not Amar-like at all.

Reemz u know what Divya did to him right at the beginning right ? Kept him waiting on purpose ? She shud do sumthing fiery , spirited and typically feminine this time too to make him understand his folly . Giving the cold shoulder to poor Mahua who has done nothing and gossiping with Sindura indeed !
