We all know that Amar is being forced by circumstance to marry Bindya. But why is Divya going out with Samrat after he has confessed his love for her, I don't see anybody forcing her to go out on date with Samrat. Isn't she the one who said in the mandir after the mala exchange that how can one get married without falling in love? She has already encountered enough situation by now to suggest that Samrat wants to marry her, so what is she thinking in tomorrow's episode where she would be going on a date with him after he has confessed his love for her in today's episode.

Ofcourse she doesn't. And why is it a big deal if she does go out for dinner with a male friend, it doesn't make it a date. We don't know in what circumstances she will agree to marry Samrat but every person here knows that their marriage will not happen and that she is destined to end up with Amar only. Samrat and Bindiya are just hurdles before AD reach each other.

@Reemz, is Divya being forced to go out with Samrat. And this is my question to all the ladies in the forum, would you go out with a guy you don't love after he has confessed his love for you? Wouldn't a girl be sending wrong signal of approval by doing so?

As far as I know she is looking for support in a friend because she has lost a dear one. Right now she is the closest to Samrat...unfortunately, so he is taking advantage of her vulnerable state.

So vulnerable that she would condone Samrat's approaches and expectations from her?

Maybe because she might not realise that she is encouraging his actions just like she has refused to accept her feelings for Amar. The truth is that there is a high chance of Divya accepting Samrats proposal and its just to create some drama, it doesn't mean that her character is wayward. You can't take an old fashioned thinking approach just because a girl has agreed to go for a 'date' with a friend.

@Reemz, I am not being Old Fashioned, I don't mind a girl going out as a friend with her male friend. I have more female friends than male, and I know and they know where we stand. But with Divya she knows and heard with her own ears that Samrat loves her and now going out with him is very different from the kind of going out she did before he confessed his love for her. All I am saying is that the writers have really goofed up in this matter, and has portrayed her in a way who can be easily manipulated, and who easily comes under peer pressure.
