Manish Nagdev is tired of being Mr Nice Guy. He feels that no one is absolutely positive and sweet and he too wants to go for a makeover. The actor is tired of playing the sweet Chinu in Banoo Main Teri Dulhan .
"I was told that I would have to keep the simpleton look for four-five months and then the character would have a makeover and would be transformed into a suave business tycoon. But as the serial progressed and people started liking this character, the storyline was altered. It€™s been a year now and I still have the same look. I am absolutely frustrated. In fact, I wish people would start hating the character, so that it can be changed," says Manish.
Manish hopes to see himself in a more stylish avatar in the future. "Who would want to be seen as a simpleton for so long? I am tired of it. It€™s becoming monotonous now. I admit that I enjoy the popularity and adulation that the character has got, but I think I need a change now," he confesses.
However, Manish is happy with his role for one reason. "I get to be part of the serious track as well as the comedy track. That gives me a good scope to perform," he says.
But according to rumours all€™s not well on the sets, as Divyanka Tripathi, Sharad Malhotra and he don€™t seem to gel well together.
In fact, the three recently had a showdown on the sets. "We did have a fight because all of us wanted to leave early and each of us wanted to can our shots first. But that doesn€™t mean we are not talking to each other. There was a small fight and it was reported like a big war," he laughs adding, "In fact the three of us get on very well. We even have our lunches together," he clarifies.
