Need a raise, boss!

Divyanka Tripathi is paid about Rs 3,000 per day for Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann while other TV stars of her league make more than Rs 20,000!

Divyanka Tripathi aka Vidya in Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann has been working with a daily wage of around Rs 3,000 per day for almost a year. She had asked for a hike in her pay a month back but was denied the same as the production house runs on a low budget. The actress from Bhopal also pays her spot boy from what she gets.

A source says, "She has been planning to buy a car and a house for a long time but has not been able to do so. She is paid on a monthly basis. The production house makes full use of her two-year contract. She gets 12 lakhs per year which is a small sum for a well-known television actress. Recently, for the first time a body double was used as she was unwell and had to take an off. This is sheer exploitation."

Another source adds, "Actresses of Divyanka's league are paid about Rs 20-25,000 a day."

Divyanka prefers to wait till July for an increment when she completes a year with the show. Divyanka says, "I feel that I deserve more. I had asked for a hike but was refused. There has been a delay as their budget is low. I am under a two -year contract so I have to wait to complete a year. After that I will ask for the much-deserved hike. I have to give my production house a chance now and plan to sort things out soon."

Divyanka adds, "I was new to the television industry so I was not aware of how much I should charge the production house. I will be taking loans to buy a car as I end up travelling by rickshaw every day. Buying a house is still a distant dream for me."

Unbelieveable, considering what a great actress she is, PAY HER MORE U BLOODY IDIOTS, what is wrong with u stupid BMTD PRODUCERS 😡

First u take away our SV, now u won't pay the best actress, in my opionion, in tellywood more money. SHAME ON U 😡

OH MY GOD.... she is a lead actress and they are really taking advantage..
