As I surfed the BMTD forum bored rigid, more because of the stale, stinky storyline BMTD has recently been displaying, I began once again pondering, thinking and dreaming of a storyline that I desire to be portrayed later on in the show. This is my idea of how the storyline could proceed without glitches and sail smoothly with fresh new leash of life into the show.
Come April 16, Sagar who still has the urge to prove to everyone that he is grown up and can earn some money of his own, will stubbornly insist on going to break stones once again despite several warnings and pleadings by Vidya and everyone else, yet when everyone is distracted in their own daily chores, he risks a sneak out and manages to get out of the house without being caught by any of the family members.
On the other hand, Sindoora is being terribly hassled as now her secret tormenter is torturing her to end sending much vicious threatening messages like inside her car on the steering wheel, a note is attached saying "gaad samhal kar chalaana, accident na hojaaye" Which shakes Sindoora to no end and she trembles as she worries and worries over who knows her secret....Later she gets a phone call with a direct invitation to meet the mystery man, he calls her to the very same temple at three pm..At three Sindoora hurriedly gets into her car to find her steering wheel covered with a white shirt soaked in deep red color - which terrifies Sindoora...She reaches the temple cautious and worried...There she finds the person who was all along scaring her, it is Aniket...Aniket pulls Sindoora's hair and pulls her closer to him and wickedly tells her "Kyun Sindoora darr gayi? jo doosro ko daraati hain, wohh aaj khud darr gayi..tsk..tsk" Sindoora stutters "aap..aap yeh sab karahe the?" "Haan mein yeh sab karaha tha, agar main chahta toh main yeh kab ka yaad delaata, lekhin mujhe thoda sa yakeen tha ki tum badlogi, par nahi tum nahi badli, tum toh isse had tak gir gayi, ki Vidya ko ghar se nikaalni ki sajish rachaayi...ithna choko math, mein sab jaanta hoon.." Sindoora shivers beneath Aniket's furious glazing stare and icy words..."mein yeh sab tumko sabak delaane keliye kiya, aur jaanti ho maine kiski madad se yeh sab kiya?" "Tusshar ki madad se...aur ab agar tumne kuch aur kiya, toh mein tumhe seede salaakon ke peeche bej doonga..tumhe..yaad hain na April 16th ko tumse kya hogaya tha?" (You may wonder in this I have not mentioned what Sindoora has actually done...I was too annoyed to write down the obvious reason - cause it isn't even interesting and after writing all this, I remembered I forgot to add this part lol)
After the sun fades away and Sagar is done breaking stones, he decides to purchase some items from a store with his money and gift something to everyone in the family, hence he crosses a heavily traffic filled street in order to get to a store across the street…On the other hand, the Singh household is surrounded in a tension filled environment, whilst Sindoora and Aniket punch in numbers and make a few calls, Chinu and Tusshar have gone on a search hunt for Sagar and Vidya in severe distress sits in front of God's idol worried and aching to know Sagar's well being. Here comes the major CATASTROPHE, whilst Sagar was crossing the road in a hurry, a lorry comes speeding on his right side, and because Sagar's attention has been diverted because of the ice-cream vendor on the road, he doesn't notice this and proceeds to cross the road and BANG… (I know…I know…as much as we desire and ache for his recovery an accident would severely torture us Sagar fans to see him injured so badly) Sagar's screams will echo in the air as the scene slow motions the accident in black and white, as Sagar like a toy crashes into the lorry...On the other hand, Vidya begins to feel uncomfortable and a sudden intuition tells her something is definitely wrong as the diya too begins to flicker but luckily she manages to stable it…
In the meanwhile, Chinu and Tusshar arrive on the scene hassled on not finding Sagar anywhere, as the atmosphere thickens with increasing tension and worried babbles, the phone suddenly rings….Aniket immediately grabs it and answers the phone only to be shaken by the caller's news….He shakily tells the family members, that it was from City Hospital and Sagar…Sagar has had an accident…With no further a do, they all immediately drive to the hospital, wandering here and there trying to find out where Sagar has been admitted…As soon as they find out where he is, they throw questions at the nurse and the doctors in desperation of knowing how severe Sagar is and if he is okay…The doctors visibly vexed and worried tell them their trying their best, but Sagar has injured his head so severely, that we can't say anything for sure at the moment….Hours pass by, the family members sit on benches waiting and waiting and Vidya intently prays to a small God's idol in her hands, trembling as let alone hours, even seconds kill her sanity…
Finally, after what seemed like an extremely tense filled elongated time, the doctors come out, and one doctor comes to them as they all rush up to know Sagar's current situation. The doctor tells them, we have managed to remove all particles of glass and he has several stitches for which we will remove after the wound heals, As for his condition, we may not know his full condition until he regains consciousness…It may take an hour or a few hours for him to regain consciousness… ( I have left out some logic here that I know, but can we really expect the writer's to incorporate pure logic and realistically portrayed events?)
After a few hours, Sagar regains consciousness and the family members are informed of this, Vidya too thanks God and rushes in to meet him with everyone else…Sagar is in a daze…looking weak and exhausted as he eyes everyone in the ward....His eyes briefly roam on Vidya and then switch to his mother…He slowly pronounces the word "maa" and Sagar's mother's eyes well with tears and joy, as they breathe sighs of relief of his recovery…The doctor checks up on Sagar and warns the family members of only a few minutes more to visit him as he needs tremendous rest and then leaves…Sagar acknowledges everyone's presence and even speaks to everyone, even Tusshar in a perfectly adult tone throwing them all off a bit but they chide him saying why is he pretending again and he looks at them in confusion…then Vidya comes forward and asks him how is feeling getting emotional, and Sagar's eyes question her…"uh who is she…yeh kaun hai Sindoora di?" Everyone is shocked especially Vidya who is shaken by his words…Then it dawns on everyone that maybe Sagar has recovered from the amnesia that he was suffering from I'm not sure if it was Anterograde amnesia, lacunar amnesia or retrograde amnesia…Aniket rushes off to call the doctor and they discuss things, and the doctor rechecks Sagar's condition and psychiatrist too checks up on Sagar…and then everyone is informed of the good news, including us of course, that Sagar has recovered from his mental illness/wound.
Sagar is unable to remember the events that occurred during his amnesic state and hence is unable to recognize Vidya or his marital vows with her…As weeks pass by, and Sagar's wounds heal, Vidya witnesses a totally different Sagar, one who is gentle from within yet arrogant externally…He devotes himself to his work and women…He is downright flirt, yet despite being told that Vidya is his legally wedded wife, forget accepting her, he doesn't even behave civilly with her…Everyone desperately tries to convince him into accepting Vidya, even Tusshar, but he gets angry on Tusshar who by the way has now bought his own bungalow in Dehli itself, questioning whether he is Sagar's friend or Vidya's…Sagar refurbishes his room with now more tasteful mahogany furniture, thin silky white curtains, leather couches in the corner and beetroot red bed covers…Vidya now lives with her mother in the guest room….

One day, Sagar is getting late for a business meeting and yells for Ramesh Kaka for his breakfast…Sagar irritated moves towards the door only to crash into a tray with his breakfast…tea spills all over his suit, Vidya shakes in fear as she observes Sagar's eyes flash in visible fury and outrage…"What the hell, TUM YAHA KYA KARAHI THI, MEIN ITHNA LATE HORAHA THA, AUR TUM…JUST GO" Vidya tries to speak, only to be silenced by Sagar's authoratative angry yell...Vidya cries as she picks up shards of glass from the floor symbolizing pieces of her broken heart...Sagar rushes into the bathroom to change yelling at her…As Vidya picks up the tray after cleaning the mess, Sagar too comes out of the bathroom still wearing the same expression as he sees her there again…"TUM ABHI TAK YAHA HO?...JAO…just get out…" Sagar too proceeds to go out the room, when Vidya remains there staring at him…he turns to look at her piercing a stare into her as cold as ice, "esse kyun dek rahi ho?" Vidya stutters shyly, suppressing a bout of laughter inside of her.."Aap ne pant nahi pehni hai..aap kya esse jayenge?"
