How does Chinu possibly believe Shalu is

I just started watching the show after a long time and just wizzed through a few updates on Zee. Can someone explain to me, how the family thinks she is pregnant? Where are the pregnancy reports, the gynec appointments. I mean before vacation, she needs prenatal vitamins. All that was mentioned was Imli and that's not enough to convince of pregnancy. Isn't Aniket smarter than that to marry of his nephew. And if Chinu wasn't doing anything with Shalu, then how in the world does he buy her pregnancy lie. I mean he out of all people should know she is not pregnant. Does he really think he is having a child with Shalu? someone please update me as I missed some critical episode. Thanks in advance.

Oophs, I forgot to add during the beach segment? What was he thinking in the honeymoon. Where he is telling her not to jump on the bed and run after crab? Does he not know how girls get pregnant? He speaks of her condition. But that what confuses me, why does he have to find out, logically shouldn't he know, she's not pregnant. Unless I missed the part where he had an affair with her. Sorry, I should have phrased it better. I mean even Vidya knew what Sindoora was talking about when she accused Vidya of wanting a baby. Vidya told her mom, that it wasn't like that. So if Vidya knows there is no such thing as miraculous conceptions, is Chinu who grew up in a more modern place more ignorant than her. And the doctors, shouldn't Aniket have asked for a pregnancy even paternity test. Sorry so many questions, esp if I missed the affair, then oophs.

that matter also baffles me. chinu took responsibilty even though he did nothing wrong. i think sindoora should have made shalu take the virginity test. that would have set things straight. now i wonder what chinu will do? poor dear, he can't divorce shalu! he won't cos he is too nice!😭😭 so he has to live with her? my heart really goes out to him!😭😭

EP – 88 - 22 December 2006, Friday

Manager starts to call the cops but Sagar stops him and says I gave Surily the money and later he tells Vidya that he did not want Surily to go to the jail. Surily thinks its yet another victory over Vidya and leaves. Shalu rides a horse and when Vidya scolds Cheenu for allowing her to do so. Cheenu apologizes and says as soon as we reach home we will have to get Shalu examined. Shalu looks caught. Harsh warns Sindoora of the changing equations at home and that Kartik and Chachi are trying to create a rift in the family. All four reach home where a doctor is waiting and he tells all that there is a change of position of the baby and that Shalu needs to be operated and now a scared Shalu spills the beans that she is not pregnant. An enraged Cheenu tells that he got to know the truth and now that the truth is in front of everyone he does not want to live with Shalu. Sindoora grabbing the opportunity puts everything on Vidya's head

How could he not know the truth before, he never did anything with her....and now surily, is she going to fake a DNA test.......this is all too much. It's following in the unrealistic lines of other soaps. Unless this happens all the time people pay doctors to lie all the time in real life?????

No no, I am talking about before the episode where he finds out. When she is swinging high on the beach he tells her in your condition,....what condition, if she's pregnant, it's not his as he never did anything to cause her to be pregnant. How could he not realize that.

Lol, you know, if Sindoora wasn't occupied, with hurting Sagar through the teacher, then getting Vidya in jail and keeping her there, and lastly saving herself when Vidya was freed....well then she would have definately put Shalu and Chachi in their place. But her vampish priority is saving her wealth, and sabatoging Sagar and Vidya in the process. Not only a waste of Vampishness. But Chinu got himself in the mess. I mean he should realize he didn't get her pregnant. Otherwise, he should ask Vidya or anyone how babies are made. and the family hello hello... she can't know she's pregnant without a pregnancy test. Signs and symptoms of other things mimic pregnancy. I'm sorry, I don't have sympathy for him. Cause look imagine yourself, if you were a guy, and a girl telling you that she's pregnant with your child when you never did anything. And I don't even find him noble, cause noble peoople side with truth, and he is going against truth. SO that is my explaination on why chinu is a pathetic character. No curiousity if he doesn't know how babies are made, no questioning, and no truth and honesty on his part. He sided with Chachi and that does not constitute goodness.
