Is Vidya really that stupid?

I understand that Vidya made a promise to her FIL about keeping the family together ..yada yada yada...BUT is this what he would have wanted?

The sisters constantly continue to abuse her even though they know she owns the home and business. Why doesn't little Chino or MIL say anything to Vidya about telling the evil sisters that she can legally kick them out if they treat her like this.

Why are the writers making Vidya the martyr and taking all this abuse when in reality no one else can stand the sisters. 🤢

The MIL always has this HELPLESS look on her face which I find quite irritating now. 😭 Vidya also makes these sad puppy dog eyes. Just cause she is from the village, she shouldn't act stupid. Her friend from the village was quite clever. ( I forget her name)

She should stand up for herself and teach Sin and the gang a lesson.

Totally agree. It's mindboggling the abuse that girl puts up with. I'm thinking that because she was so abused by her evil aunt, uncle and Shalu, that it's a way of life she's so used to, she just doesn't know what else to do. But no, this cannot go on too much longer. At some point she's gotta snap and start defending herself. Because if she doesn't, then I'm gonna snap. 😆

I have nothing against the actress that plays Vidya, I just think the character Vidya should be stronger.
I hate it when they show women as weak and helpless.
I mean really, Sin is very assertive. When MIL said to order out for the party ( lunch), Vidya should of said ,
" mmmm..sure..., I will go rest in my new room for a while! "
