illiterate Vidhya - just ranting

I can understand that she never got a chance to study but HELLOOOOO did she also never got a chance to count money??? Even illiterate people know how to count money. In this day and age, no one is so out-of-touch with real world..
why do they always show the main character sacrificing soooo much??? why can't they ever show that husband-wife team is in harmony with each other and uses their love to overcome problems..
anyways just wanted to get out of my system..all shows r same- no matter which channel you watch...nothing new or out of ordinary...I miss older shows like Malgudi days, Karamchand, etc..

yh tru. its abit weird coz vidya doesnt even know how to put the shower on. plus when she probably cooks or summat cnt she count the vegetables. she could have leanrt maths from there. in that case she should onli know the basics of how to speak. the second thing is that ppl hu no the basics no wot a siggy is. she could have just put a line or summat. i think ekta shouldnt hav made vidya sooo illitrate that she dunt no hw to count. i agree with you.

In one of the episode they showed Vidya running to buy medicine for her mother. Doesn't she know how much it would cost for the medicine. I guess, they go to extreme. Viewers have to see her suffer, suffer and suffer for another year. In the last episode, Sindoora adn Sagar will realize her sacrifice and accept her. If anyof you have seen 'Reth', you will agree with me. Actres who is doing Sindoora Role, acted as Nethra in that drama. Anyway, in short, this drama is also from the same group - Shakuntalam as 'Reth'. Enjoy the suffereing of 'Vidya'.
