Yes.... so far Dulhan seems to have same storyline as Koshish. Let's see what turns it takes as it moves ahead.

And for people who did not get a chance to watch Koshish...... guys you missed a wonderful show and also two wonderful actors who were main leads in that show..... Sandhya Mridul(she was in movie Saathiya and Page 3) and Varun Badola (Abhi in Astitva)..... in fact Varun was so damn good as a grown up with a childs mind 👏 ..... It was difficult for me to accept him as a normal human being in Astitva 😆 😆

yea the story line comes pretty close to that of koshish except that in koshish the female lead didn't know that her husband was abnormal but here vidya knew about saagar. btw varun badola was simply awesome in koshish..i have never seen anyone act like a mad man better before (or after) him

koshish was a beautiful drama & varun badula as neeraj was superb, I become a huge fan of varun since then, saagar's acting is not even close to that......

it might! i used like watching koshish. it was a good show and vidya reminds of the sandhya mridual. I became a fan of varun badola after watching him act mentally challenged. he was just awesome. i hope sagar can carry on his footsteps, although i dont think he will be able to match varun's acting. but for a new comer, sagar is great

Hey guys,
I just read about sagar being mental case - reminds me of story of Koshish ek asha - starring Sandhya Mridul and Varun Badola - do you think it along the similar track - just that new type of villan???? 😉 i mean vamp

Even before the show started they had mentioned abt sagar's mental illness.I thought,oh my god, another koshish in the making. Can't they think abt some new masala...garam masala 😆

Koshish was one of Ekta's best serials if not her best. A relationship between a wife and a mentally challenged husband. But guys before you start comparing the 2 shows, do remember that Neeraj (Koshish) had been turned mental since childhood whereas Saagar(Dulhann) became mental in his youth. So don't expect him to act the same way as Neeraj did. Plus we have extra masala in this show, we KNOW that there are 3 churels in the show but in Koshish we got to know near the end of the serial that it was the step-mother who was the culprit. And they finished it soon after, great serial!!
