Vidya POV
I had a cup of coffee in my hands and I was telling Preity everything Sagar told me. Preity's facial expression went from mad, to furious to calmed down to suspicious. "V,are you sure you two didn't do anything, wrong. Who knows if he's lying, you can't fully trust him. I mean he probably didn't want to tell you. What if you two did really did do it." I understood what she meant but wasn't too sure of what happened that night, and the only evidence is from Sagar who said nothing happened. "Forget that V I''m just worried because if he did lie to you, then there is a chance that you could be preggers." My eyes seemed to bulge out when she said that. What if he is lying to me, besides I can't trust him and what if I do become preggers then what? My mind seemed to be racing from one end to the other and I couldn't help but to suppress a bit of tension as I started folding napkins. Preity looked at me like I was mental. "What are you doing" she asked pointing out my odd behaviour. "When I'm tensed I fold things that are in front of me- OH no I need more napkins to fold" She looked at me strangely and slumped against her chair texting someone. Must be her boyfriend. Then she had an anxious look on her face. Watching her is like watching a chameleon change in different colours, one second she has a happy face the next a depressed one, it's amazing. "Vidya I don't understand why would Arjun do that to you, he's one of the nicest guys, he'd never do that." I slumped back on my chair. "Honestly I don't either, there has to be some other reason" I said to her. I shot back up as I saw Arjun approach my table. I started folding napkins again. He looked at me weird and took a seat. I shot up holding the table my face looking away and so did Preity. "Let me explain, please" he pleaded. I looked at Preity who signalled a yes. "Preity stay with me alright" I instructed her. She nodded and sat down. I needed her here just in case I lose my temper and slap him. "Go you have 1 minute, say what you want and if it's not reasonable than don't ever show me your face got it" I sat down scolding him. "I'll start from the beginning. I have a girlfriend named Antara. Me and her have been together for 4 years since the start of university. Since this is my last year I proposed to her and we were planning to marry each other once school ended. But one day she went out shopping with Suhana, the thing is they were enemies. Suhana wanted her revenge because Antara had dissed her off for being such a slut. Antara hates those kind of girls. They came back pretty late and the gates were closed but Suhana she found a way in but Antara was left outside and Suhana sent a group of boys outside to Antara. She was hopeless, so they made her smuggle drugs by force into the school, the dean found out and they rustigated her from the school. Suhana told me if I followed her orders she's bring her back because her father is a trustee. I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have done it but I didn't see another way to bring her back. She deserves to be here but Suhana didn't bring her back at all" He had tears in his eyes at the end of his explanation. I couldn't help but to feel sympathy towards him, I would have done the same if I were in his position. I placed my hand on shoulder and Preity followed suit. "Don't worry, we'll bring Antara back and that's a promise and in fact we'll bring Suhana down. If her father is a trustee, who cares t he truth is the truth and after I tell my part of the story and what she did to me than we're good and you're a witness which makes it even better" Vidya consoled him. He looked up with a fire in his eyes. "Thanks, I really hate that Suhana, I didn't know that she could be that evil but I was wrong but she shouldn't underestimate me either" he gritted through his teeth. "Sagar can help us, he knows a lot" Preity added. Sadly it was the truth but I'll have to ignore that awkward feeling because of Arjun's love.
Sagar POV
I sat with my group of friends on our table without the presence of the she-devil Suhana. As soon as we got to school I hunted down Arjun to tell me why he did it and I understood. He was afraid for his love. I would be too if I were in his position. I wanted to help him in some sort of way but I told him to tell Vidya the truth. As I sat with my friends my eyes flickered over to see Arjun with Vidya and Preity. I'm guessing they now know because they were consoling him. I played with my thumbs a bit and got up. "Dude where are you going" a friend of mine asked, he was Preity's boyfriend Rahul. "Rahul I need to go over to Arjun" I explained. "Over there at Preity's table" he assumed. "Yeah" I replied. "Can I come too" he asked, he was obviously eager to go over to Preity, I nodded and he walked over to their table. Vidya looked startled as I sat down. I could tell things were going to be awkward between us from now on. I sat down and couldn't help but to feel guilty about not telling her the entire truth, the truth is that night things happened that shouldn't have happened, things went out of control, I lost my self-control. I told her nothing happened because I didn't want things to turn from bad to worse. But what makes it worse is the fact that I haven't told that I know she was my Cinderella that night. There was a silence forming around the table. "Arjun have you told her" I asked him eyeing Vidya. "Yes and she wants to help me" he answered. I looked at Vidya. This girl was really something, she was different from most girls. She plays sports, cleans up well, can look really hot, and helps. Not something you see every day. "Yeah and we need you to help us, you need to tell the dean about what she did to me so that gets her manipulative personality down supporting the fact that she could do something drastic like what she did to Antara" Vidya explained not making eye contact with me. Truthfully I was afraid to look in her eyes because of the exact truth about what happened at the hotel because I feared she's find out just by looking into them. I don't know If I should tell her but she kind of does need to know. "I'll do my part and I'll help you guys at the best of my ability" assuring them that I was on their side. Shrugging aside my thoughts of telling her to later, when I'll actually be ready to man up.
I wanted to change one thing, on one of the chapters he actually thinks nothing happens but it does so yeah, I had a new idea and wanted to test it out.
