Part 9, Don't cry
-Aditya's POV-
I stood in front of her. She looked all lost in her thoughts. "Deepika," I said. She came out of the thoughts and looked at me. I smiled. She stood up and stood infront of me. "Why wasn't you at work? Do you know how scared I was? Why is your mobile off? Cou..." she took her finger on my lips, indicating me to stop. "I'm scared," she whispered. Her voice was shaking. Tears were forming in her eyes. "Why?" I asked. She turned around. She sulked. "Last night, Imran called me" she said. I looked shocked. I got angry. "Why did he call?" I asked. My voice was angry. "I was just about to sleep when my mobile ringed. I thought it would be you or some other so I just answered it. Then I heard his voice. I was all shocked. I had changed my number after what happened that day. I don't now how he got my new number. He said that he will come to me and take revenge. And he also said that I can't escape from him. He said he'll be at my house tomorrow 2am" she said. I could feel the fire inside of me. My head was about to explode. I made a fist with my hand. "I'm not going to spare him!" I said angry. "Aditya, you aren't going to do anything!" she said scared. "I don't want anything happens to you because of me," she cried. I looked at her. I had cooled down a bit. But I was still angry. How could he be like that? How?
"Aditya?" she said. I was lost in my thoughts. She shook me and I came out of the thoughts. "If you really want to do something for me, then can you be with me the whole night. I really need support and someone who can be with me. I'm scared," she whispered. She looked down. Tears dropped on the ground. I lifted her face up so I could look at her. "Please don't cry. I'll be there with you, the whole night. You don't need to be worried," I said. I placed a kiss on her forehead. She smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back.
We were sitting in my car and I was driving. "Deepika, do you want to work today?" I asked her. "I don't feel so good. Can I just be home today?" she asked me. "Of course you can. If you need something, just call me," I said. I stopped in front of her house and she opened her seatbelt. "Thanks Aditya," she said. "Anytime," I said back and drove to work.
"Aditya! Did you find her?" Tara asked and ran to me as I came in the office. "Yeah, she was on the hill. She wasn't feeling so good so she isn't coming today," I said. "Oh, Ok," said Tara. I walked to the chair and sat down. "So, have you guys done something while I wasn't here?" I asked. Tara and Varun looked at each other and blushed. I raised my eyebrow. "Hello?" I said, holding a pen in my hand. "We were so worried about Deepika so we couldn't concentrate about the work. I sighed. "Well, can you both come here and sit down and help me? Or are you just going to stand there and blush?" I asked with a little laugh at the end. They both looked at each other and sat down.
