I don't think the extension news has been confirmed, none of the articles say either Imagine and/or BT have confirmed it, they just say they have heard it from unnamed sources. There was a time when there was a rumor from multiple sources that Aasiya was going to be replaced, they even named a few actresses who had been auditioned along with pictures and everything and the news seemed credible enough, there were people for it and people against it and this went on for a while until the channel formally announced that nothing of the sort was going to happen and that Aasiya was and will be the face of Bandini. Then there was the article about Hiten and Khemi eloping and getting married and the one about Monghi, Sarang and Rudr triangle and many others which we all know never happened. So can't beleive any news until it comes from channel or PH. Anyways, these extensions are always contingent on performance, no channel gives PH an extension unconditionally irrespective of the performance of the show, they will not let a show that is not bringing in TRPs continue for 6 months, shows get canceled all the time even if they have been supposedly given an extension when they do not perform.....must be the way their contract is worded that allows them to do that. So any extension will depend on whether the current track is able to pull the show up from the where it is currently and if it does and if the other factors are in favor then it will continue for a few months, maybe even longer if it is able to surpass expectations, who knows, only time will tell.
