Compariosn arise when there is major difference.. Bajaj Virani and DM all stand at the same level and equally strong that we dont tend to compare them but to bajao thaali at each of them while KD stands at a different level and thats why this comparison..

How can you compare based on one episode?!

Never seen much of mihir virani but if you see one DM fill bandini episode its enough.and u could get great impression of DM from first bandini episode

So very true.....all it took for me to get hooked to Bandini was one episode.......and I hadn't ever followed any of RR's earlier shows, the few epis of his earlier shows that I had seen off and on weren't enough to make me think much of him and I didn't.....but one epi of Bandini had me hooked to the show and I wanted to see more of DM and Santu and their story and I came to admire RR's talent coz he breathed life into a very powerful and complex character, so yeah, one episode was enough. The only reason I put up with the first episode of Adaalat was because of RR and the only reason I would give it another chance is because of him, because having watched him in Bandini, I know what he is capable of and I have high expectations of him and his show, but then he can only work with the material he is given and can't rise above a poor script and poor show especially since a show like this does not require any histrionics of his character unless he is shown as a very passionate lawyer who feels very passionately about the law and all I have read about the show indicates his character is not such. We saw even in Bandini how the script and the story matters, there is such a difference in DM of first year and the DM of second year because the material RR had to work with in the first year was much superior to what he had in the second. I guess what I am trying to say is one episode is enough to judge a character, especially in an episodic like Adaalat where the main character is established in the first episode and sadly KD did not impress.

Thats exactly the word to describe it - dated - yes it did look like a show from the bygone era, did not have the polished look that most shows have these days.....and I think it's because the PH is cutting corners and is not investing much funds into it....maybe hiring RR did not leave much in their budget to work with😆
