Exactly, thats why I am steering clear of her shows, heard her new one on SP is good but I am not watching it, anyways watched a couple of epis a few weeks back and didn't find it interesting whereas it had taken only a couple of epis of Bandini when it started to ensnare me even though I was aware of Ekta's soaps' reputation and had no intention of getting ensnared in her web. I don't even follow PR all that much and definitely not going to watch her new show on Star One, heard it's based on Twilight, knowing her she will turn Twilight adaptation into a saas-bahu soap as well, don't want to see Twilight butchered....now, if only I could break whatever remaining connection I have with Bandini, I'd be happy....but I think it will happen soon, the way the show is going it is only a matter of time.
This is what I first thought when I read the article. It is time Ekta does away with getting involved in shows and messing them up. All her shows are clones of each other with same story lines Evil Mother-in -Law, scheming Daughter-in-Law, vamps and negative characters, did I forget to mention omni-present leaps- all of her shows can't run without leaps and for Bandini a 10-year old monstrous kid Vishal. We will see Indianised version of Twilight ruining it for good. Bandini began on such a good note but it is now languishing and heading no where and seriously it is time for all of us hard core fans to go find a new show to discuss and debate and get over our Bandini hangover.
