Dear friends, I want to say that Santuri is a true mother. She has done a lot for her children, though she has not given birth to them. Bringing up is more important than just giving birth. At an young age, she is a true mother & is an example for motherhood. She showed the right way to Kadambari that Sandeep is an evil guy. In case of Maulik also, she arranged for sending him to correction home, so that Maulik gets rid of wine-addiction. I can't forget her sacrifice for Birwa. She took the charge of Arjan's murder over her & spent 10 years in the jail. After 10years, she pretended to be evil in eyes of Mahiyavanshi family, so that she can bring her children together & unite them with Dharamraj who shut himself from his relationships for 10 years. Now also she is sacrificing her relationship for the sake of Birwa. Don't you think - she is a true mother ? I really respect Santuri.

Hmmm... I choose to differ a little.....Santu needs to be a wife first....she become a mother AFTER she became a wife....Just because she puts her kids before her husband, it does not absolve her of her relation with her husband.
There is a delicate line between the two relationships and santu must learn to balance it....like we all do in real life...😳...just my POV....as a mother to someone ELSE's children....she absolutely rocks...she deserves credit for that.👍🏼

But during Rudr's chappal beating, didn't DM himself say that she came to the house as a mother, not as a wife. Also she became the mother to his kids first and only after that did DM accept her as a wife. Seems to me like DM himself expects her to be a mother first, even he puts their relationship second to other relationships.

OK point taken.....
It is true that he accepted her only after the kids did first.
If DM remembers this then all the more reason for him to start thinking....real hard about the rules he sets as well as his expectations of others to follow them.
On the other hand, whatever the circumstances, santu needs to give importance to both relationshipd equally....trying to be a good mother does not mean she can not be a good dutiful wife, irrespective of her husband's expectations of her behaviour towards his kids....
I still feel they BOTH need to get their priorities sorted out...

This I agree......it is really bugging me that DM can be so easily swayed against Santu by his evil sister who he knows has always had it in for Santu.....if this whole divorce drama had been his idea, it wouldn't have bugged me as much as that it was started by Moti and that despite knowing his sister so well, he is so easily influenced by her against Santu.....makes me wonder where Santu lies on his list of priorities or does she even feature on the list.

^^^
Just as DM has responsibility towards his wife that he too has been shirking for the past ten years, other wise he wouldn't have let his wife rot in jail for 10 years despite believing her to be innocent no matter what she said and he certainly wouldn't be so easily influenced against her by his evil sister.

Can't blame just Santu, both of them put other relationships and other people before each other. Atleast Santu has a good reason, she is protecting her daughter, whats his?
