Hey guys

Ok so today's episode at the end Khemi's words had a very true point.

I was thinking about it in the context of real life and its true I mean Santo is 28, she has been given all these responsibilties and she's been told to handle them and she has but I am sure Santo had dreams she probably wanted her life to be different, I am sure she did want children of her own.

They actually got me thinking I mean Hiten agrued back well but all he was thinking was his mother won't leave him/ them.

Khemi was thinking about the woman inside Santo, who had dreams and hopes and aspirations. I mean shouldn't her life be like HiRal's or Shashank and Kaddu (when it was working) even like Khemi's because despite everything Khemi at least has Krishna?!?

Ok I am not supporting Rudra and Santo or Santo and anyone! I mean I love SanRaj and can't wait for them to be together again😆

This post is not about Santo and Rudra or SanRaj! It is about what Khemi said, I am saying it does hold meaning. I mean she is a mother to what a 30 year old and an 18 year old yet herself is only 28?!?

For once I am actually agreeing with Khemi because Santo should be given a right I mean she was given so much to handle.

Please refrain from bashing, because this post is not about any jodi's or couples it is about Khemi's words.

niks her last point was valid to Hiten she is a widow hence she alone but santu is alone coz her husband is not with her.
There is a vast difference here of being a widow and being without a husband while he is very much alive.
The woman that is santu has emotions and feelings which is clearly being ignored and if someone else starts noticing it's not her fault entirely.
This is why she asked to send Rudr back coz something cld happen unintentionally.

You're right Nikki! This is why I didnt see it as Chemical speaking but Khemi talking. Like I said in the Live Update thread, nobody in Bandiniland since the show started has thought about Santu as a person.

She's always been accepted because she reminds people of Subhadra or she proves her worth to them or helps them out or is of some use in some way.

Shanky is the only person who didn't fit this mold and she pushed him away because she was already married. And he was too nice a guy to push back.

When Nanaji told her to marry, be it the original groom or DM, he was thinking of himself and his responsibilities and so on. What kind of life Santu would have, he didnt even think. When she chose DM, she had to convince him to marry her and even then, it took her losing her temper and demanding her rights for him to come to his senses.

For the past 10 years, she's been locked away from the world. In many ways its like time froze for her. Emotionally she's incredibly mature and Khemi can't begin to understand that. But in terms of experience, she's a baby. Which is what Rudr was reacting to, I think. Any other woman would have seen the signs. To Santu, it was unimaginable, so she treated him the way she treats her only other friend, Shanky. And he took it the wrong way.

So in a manner of speaking, Khemi is not wrong. She is mistaken in Santu's case but generally speaking, she's not wrong.

You guys have valid points....however, true as Khemi's words may be......Santu's stand has always, sadly, been misunderstood. This may be a great deal due to her Mahanta.....but I can't help but feel that Khemi's words have an underlying taunt in them, as she always compares her loss to Santu's.
I was actually impressed with Hiten to have also pointed out the fact that had roles been reversed, Khemi would not have liked it either...she still justified it by saying her husband was dead and Santu's left her...a tad confusing as she was the one responsible for him leaving Santu years ago......maybe she forgot she was the one who made her husband leave her only because her own had been killed by Santu.
As far as morals go....whatever the age gap....Lonely as Santu is....so strong is her character and strength, that she will not let anyone replace DM in her life....everyone should realize that by now....especially her older sister Khemi....my take on that...

@Kichwamaji

Actually, the fact that Khemi is so confused in her feelings about Santu is something I liked. It's the kind of writing that initially made me like this show - like Maulik was a complex character who could feel two extremely opposite things, Khemi is developing to be like that too.

Since she believes Santu turned selfish after her marriage and murdered Arjan, she honestly hates her for what she did to her and her son. And I can't really blame her for that because she repeatedly asked Santu to explain and even begged her to say she did it in self defense but Santu made up her idiotic golddigger story instead which was highly unnecessary from all angles.

But she's also the same sister who brought up Santu and can't help but care for her and see her as a human being when everybody else is too blind to see her as anything but whatever their own needs and perceptions demand of her. Deep down inside, I bet she still loves Santu. And hates herself for loving her too.

[Of course, this is keeping her whole baby killing, benbaa ways to the side. I still hate Chemical but I can't hate her for thinking the worst of Santu after Santu went to such lengths to convince her. And I bet Santu doesnt blame her for it either. ]

Agree with you..
Whatever flaws the character Khemi has, for the first time she spoke something sensible.. that she could see a human being in a girl she thinks is the murderess of her husband. Its a great thing that she could see Santu's inner mind where she is away from her husband or rather being denied all rights of being a wife. yes there is a difference between a widow and an estranged wife.
Hope Hiten will think sensible and come at the right conclusion.

wow beautiful post Nikki...
agree with other mbr that Khemi is the only one who saw the girl inside of santu.
It is so sad that everyone compared her to dead subhi and santu was moulded by m-clan to behave like subhi, think like subhi and even act like subhi. Young santu was moulded to be a mother of Subhi's kids than DM's wife...I am so glad today she realized her mistake of putting the children first than her hubby.
I am not mad at Rudr for saying she is beautiful (but hated the fact he hold her hair and hurt her) she is gorgeous and with that hairstyle and charm she looks heavenly and Rudr being a young man noticed how beautiful and innocent she is and I am sure he had seen how the m-clan behave with her and he got the feeling they treat her like outsider when the fake moochi did not say anything wheh he questioned if she does not belong to the m-clan.
Even though she is 28 but still she is the same kid who has a heart of 18 yrs old who wants to be loved and accepted by her family especially her dashing hubby.
I just hope the question Cruella had put in Hiten's mind will make him think how his father and santu are not together. Hope he will bring them together (but I doubt)

Point taken Uma.....but I feel Khemi is being judgmental even if it is onlt assumption that Santu may be carried away being an estranged wife only because she is after all a human......I think somewhere along her line of thinking and actually feeling something for her sibling, she has forgotten what a strong personality Santu actually is and that no matter how human Santu may seem to Khemi, this is not a path she would take.
This is the reason i applaud Hiten for siding with her....alas may not be for too long, so it seems.
I guess my question is what makes Khemi the widow more in control of her lonliness than Santu the estranged wife with grown up kids and a ready made family whom she always put before herself.....( and who incidentally said in her own words in this episode that she is going to put her hubby first and foremost henceforth)..????
