DM isn't standing in her way either. She used the POA and he let her. She asserted her authority and he stood aside and let her. The only time he barks at her is when she says anything against his family. Santu doesn't need to assert her independence anymore. What she needs to do is come clean about the whole affair and then let him decide. You can't condemn a man for forging an opinion based on half-truths supplied by santu herself. So Santu can come down off her high horse and accept her part in the destruction.

Neither am I condoning DM. The man has been an utter moron for allowing himself to be blackmailed by his two-bit DIL into severing relationships with his wife. Right there, the CV's messed up his character big time. DM has apparently always stood for truth and justice against anyone and everything. So the idea that he rolled over and died so to speak, while still doubting his wife's guilt flies against the nature of his character.

Why Santu still insists on covering the mistake of her ungrateful selfish daughter I will never understand. When she first did it, fair enough. She could not have known that Birwa would turn out to be such a *****. But now that she has seen her true colours, why sacrifice your self-respect, your honour and your integrity for her?? Tell DM, walk out of the hell-hole and let DM deal with his wayward kids! No need for attitude, no need for asserting independence. Walk out and have your independence na?

But she won't. Because at the end of the day she loves DM. And he is the reason why she will stick around and take the flack. And because of that I have to deal with her continued mahanta, and DM's continued stubborn male ego.

Please note that all these problems would'nt have started if Santu spoke the truth to DM.Okk she did the right thing, because any mother would first want to save their kids..But when she clearly knows that her husband dislike lies, she should have atleast told him and could have asked a kind of "Vachan" from DM the way she did for the surgery incident..

DM would have been normal, all would have lead a normal life, Nobody would dare to kill fetuses, involve in flesh trade etc..Life would be the same and normal. She could serve her punishment and join her family-What was the need of all these over dramas..Agree with you that DM should'nt have gone into isolation-By doing so the CVs have partially spoiled his character.He should have been angry with Santu and not the M's

At any point have I defended DM and said his behaviour was correct? No. Only that Santu doesn't have to do this anymore. The lion is awake. What I would like for her to do is walk out. You say she is asserting her independence. I say walk out! That's asserting her independence.

And she did come back of her own accord. DM didn't give her justice that's true. But then it was a case of one persons word against another and Santu's friends let her down anyway. But she could have walked away and left them to rot. She feels some sense of loyalty to them and so she goes back to sudharofy them. Let them kill each other!

I read your post earlier where you said that you hadn't been in the forum long. So I'm assuming that you've missed all the posts where we did our fair share of DM bashing! And still do. Some of us like Fuzzy are staunch DM bashers 😆

Obviously, the man is going to taunt her. She wants him to! She wants him to have the wrong idea about herself. She wants him to hate her and is going out of her way to make it happen. The man merely gives her what she wants. And still we all hope and pray that DM sees through her facade and realises her game.

Similarly we keep yelling at Santu that despite her efforts, in his heart of hearts her husband doesn't hate her. Contrary to appearances, he still loves her and she needs to see this too.

Santu got bashed yesterday for bringing up the divorce issue. No-one wants that track repeated. And Santu does not need to be giving silly idea to the m-clan. That bunch of fools are capable of coming up with such ideas themselves!! 😡

And despite my rants at Santu, I'm one of her ardent supporters. I still fume at the way moti tortured her and humiliated her by undressing her so shamelessly. Santu should get justice for all that. She needs to take that up with moti!

And some of her mistreatment wasn't even known to DM, as she herself hid the matter from him.

I want her to give them hell, and that's why I rant at her when she occasionally loses sight of things and goes off on a tangent!
