In Santu's defense, if Santu should be ardhangini then where was/is DM as the other half?
Has DM ever stood up for his wife against Moti and other bacterias in the house?
When Santu came back into the M-mansion everyone abused her. Whatever his problems with Santu, it is between husband and wife and should have been dealt with in private. Instead he just stood and watched when Moti, Khemi, and Maulik abused her and asked her to get out and literally threw her out.
Why was DM silent? He should have told Moti that it was not her house and she had no say in anything. He falls short everytime he has to stand up for Santu.
I will believe that DM loves her only when he stands up for Santu against Moti, Khemi, and all other bacterias in the house. He has never done that even once. It is Santu who has had to adjust all the time.
It is not enough if DM talks the talk. He has to walk the talk too. The day DM yells at Moti and all other bateria and stands up for Santu publicly is the day I will accept that he really loves her.
Just as he expects his wife to trust and confide in him, the wife has every right to expect that the husband will protect her from mean and abusive relatives. DM has never kept his side of the bargain as the husband in this matter. Why should she keep the bargain as a wife and trust and share?
