I don't think DM sees Subhi in Santu at all, despite his family conspiring to make him see Subhi in her.

I think he does. Giving her subhadra's sthann always in my mind meant giving her that respect, rights and status of his wife (in public and private), not actually literally making her dress up like her, wear her jewellery and her clothes. If he loved Santu, he would see her as her and would have bought her one of her own suits. how can you not reminisce and see the great love of your life when the woman taking her place is dressed like, dances like her ... prob can even do a good impersonation of the scary ass expression she has on her portrait? and DM doesn't think subhi's dead anyway, he's always buying her expensive gifts and is like 'alright love, how are you?all good?'

The present DM--who gives these intense looks at santu- without guilt--was born after that 7-pot dance,where he stood up in that filmy,dreamy stage and muttered "subadraaa" .Ever since there is a definite change in him,what can be drawn from all this.Agreed,he gave those looks earlier also,but then he was always guilty.I would say that previously,he was attracted to Santu,but NOW,he is seeing more subi in her more than santu.So,he doesnt feel as guilty as he used to.

I prefer those scenes than these current half baked,replusive scenes.I find them offensive,to be frank.

Just what i think..but i still love u guys.. 😆

I don't think he has ever "made" her dress like Subhi, on the contrary it always seems to annoy him. He asked her to wear Subhi's saree for the havan, because I beleive that was a family tradition, his wife(whoever she was/is) always wore the same saree for the havan each year. Recently, all the clothes he has give her have been bought just for her. Santu might remind him of Subhi, especially when she is made to do things that Subhi did, who wouldn't be reminded, but I don't think he has ever mistaken her for Subhi or seen Subhi in her....we would be in for a lot of romantic scenes if he did.

I would disagree - there were a couple of instances I can recall where he gave her similar look that he did in yesterday's episode - one was on Megs-Rasik anniversary party when she came down in that blue saree and the second one when he saw her dressed up for Saumil bhai's b'day and I don't recall him being guilty on either of those two occasions -- so the look he gave her yesterday was not new - maybe he was reminded of Subhi, when she was wearing her clothes and jewellery and when everyone else is doing their best to make him see Subhi in her, who wouldn't be, maybe not....but I don't think he "sees" Subhi in her, I don't think there is any confusion in his mind that Subhi and Santo are two different people. If he did thought of her as Subhi, he wouldn't have so much problems accepting her fully as his wife.

I don't mind those scenes, because I don't really beleive he is confused about Santu and Subhi being two different people...but I would rather have better SanRaj scenes 😊
