Hehehehe, DM called Subhi an idiot today for writing down all the details of their life in her diary. And Ana is planning to search the diary for MB's raaz so watch out Mahiyavanshis!

Pinu is apparently less of a master villain than a guy who just wants what is owing to him, but he made a BIG MISTAKE with Ana.

I have two points to make.

1. This track is awful. It's purpose was to make DM realise Subhadra is dead and gone. It has done that, but also made Santu a second wife, Pinakin evil (i was so angry, i really liked Pinakin!) and the rest of us bored off our faces. I haven't watched Bandini in over a week and wasn't too bothered. Bringing in a fake actress with some long lost diary (that hitherto no one knew about) and a character with the most stupidly timed vendetta (that hitherto no one knew about) is just really lazy story writing. The creatives have missed the mark .

2. Santu and DM. OK, controversial point here. I DETEST the characterisation they have done. Santu has regressed to an almost infantile state of idolization where she is desperately attention seeking, displays no recognition of the fact that 4 months ago this same man treated her worse than an animal and he has NOT apologised and (i could forgive everything else) her naivete (whether appropriate or not for her age/backround) makes this flirting with DM unbearable to see and gives me a horrible queasy feeling. I know everyone was rejoicing over the 'fix it' line but did no one notice that Santu was laughing like a child with absoloutely NO understanding of what he meant? I know she is 18, legal, grown up yadda yadda but her mental maturity is something of the order of a 12 year old? If any man said that same statement to any grown woman blushing, shock or even a knowing smile would be the response - not laughing in his face when he basically said he was going to take all your clothes off and do things to you!!!

I know in India it's all about blushing bride's and all innocence is seen as the appropraite response of a woman when dealing with sexual matters but this current situation is ludicrous. These kind of encounters are had between equals. Santu can barely say anything even when she's transformed into the second, poorer, less respected wife and basically dumped to the side. (Also, why is santu accepting this two wives thing? has she lost ALL her self-respect?)

I don't blame DM. He is not a pervert or twisted. I don't care about the age gap. I don't care he's already been married before.
Santu who has shown so much maturity, self sacrifice, understanding and wisdom in almost every other aspect of her life is now being transformed into this? I wish i wish i wish she would stand up, reject his advances, make him pine and show some dignity in the whole affair. Why they have to make her behave like this is beyond me.

I totally agree with you!! 👏 The only thing that gives me some hope is that DM understands that Santo isn't thinking about jumping into bed with him - all she wants is for him to smile at her, call her by her name and occasionally show her he cares by fixing her bindi for her. Santo's upbringing by her nanaji really shows in scenes like these.

The thing that gets me mad in the present track is that he's taking advantage of her feelings for him by allowing scenes like the one with Kaddu the Pumpkin today to develop. 😡 I think its pretty well established by now that Santo has absolutely no boundaries where DM is concerned. He could make her dress like Hitler and perform like a rodeo clown if he just asked her. For a second there before their marriage it looked like he knew it and was taking care of it for her - but now its back to "you're my wife, therefore take what i give you".

Wow dips.. you are back with a BIG BANG😲
Agree she has smiled cheapish when DM said about fixing it.. but why blame Santu.. just blame the CVs for making her growing less her age.. she had shown maturity in lot other matters but behave childish or babyish when real serious matters come..
But did you notice that the CVs real motive for making her smile when he said fixing up.. is to make him say BESHARAM the very next second.. she had blushed in front of the whole family dear..so she know when to blush and when not to..
BTW why she has to be besharam, when her legal hubby is ready to fix her clothes😉😳

^^

I've watched Bandini with the hope that they would show this girl coming into her own, taking control of her life, learning some self-respect and remaining the caring, kind and sweet-natured person she is. Basically becoming a principled woman. She hasn't done this. It's sad for me to see because i almost wanted to try and relate to her as someone whose values i could understand (despite being a highly educated girl growing up in an urban developed country).

Right now, she's making me cringe with embarassment and shame. I physically cannot watch her scene's with DM where's she showing such desperate behaviour. It's so derogatory. Can someone please please please let her have some self-respect? even a little bit?

Relax dips, she might soon gain her self respect..coz she is burning inside as this fakey has entered her life and Kaddu might force her to leave soon and DM will have to pacify and bring her back.

But again, if all she does is get jealous green-envy like and throw herself into his arms (prob by crying non stop) with even less grace than before i will officially give up.

You know what you do when you realise someone doesn't love you like they should? Get up, cry (a bit) and move the hell on. They can come back and fix themselves up but it's not your job to stand there and be grateful for every crappy bit of attention they throw at you.
