I have a different take on DM giving Santu Subhi's saree and jewelery to wear for the havan. I didn't see it as DM giving Santu Subhi's used stuff or trying to turn Santu into Subhi clone. To me it seemed like his wife wearing that saree and jewellery for the havan is a family tradition and he was continuing with it by having Santu wear them during the havan. Otherwise, he has bought her clothes and jewellery and she has been wearing them, he hasn't asked her to wear Subhi's clothes on other occasions when she had to dress up, so why on this specific occasion. I think it was because he wanted her to wear the clothes and jewellery that his wife always wears during the havan.

I also did not buy DM's explanation that he wanted Santu to sit in the havan with him because of the villagers.....he had no qualms about villagers reaction when he refused to sit with her in the puja during holi, ultimately Baa-Bapuji sat in that puja, they could have done that again during the havan.....but DM did not ask them, instead he asked Santu to sit in the puja with him.

And there definitely was something in the look he gave her when she came out all dressed up and there was nothing platonic in it 😉....he had this spark in his eyes....

I also liked the way he treated Khemi-Arjan....he could have been mean since she caused his son so much pain and the old DM probably would have, but he was very nice to them and that was sweet of him.

Hmm, maybe that's what DM wanted with passing on Subhi's stuff to Santu. Tradition, could have been the reason.

Shalu,I agree with the sparks part,Arjan-Khemi, and the saree part of your post. But not where you mentioned that DM bought sarees for her on other occasions, whatever Santu has,was given by Meghna, remember the scene where he mentioned those jewelleries and sarees were given by megs to her,so she should take it with her?

ok,if i think hard, maybe once--when they had to go to Saumil Bhai's Sarparaise party. That was abt it.

Hehehe, too funny Radhika😆 I have not seen the epi. He had the MS in his wardrobe?😆 The dumb creatives must have forgotten where they had it last time, right in front of Subhi's portrait.

Well, yeah and then the one he bought her for Hiten's engagement and he also gave her some clothes and jewelery early on which she put into his closet and got into trouble for it....anyways, thats not the point really....he has never really asked her to wear Subhi's clothes, not to my recollection anyways....infact that seems to annoy him.

Right shalu.... whenever he saw Santu in Subhi's clothes he was annoyed ..... remember the very first time she wore subhi's sari and clothes he really hurt her..... he has given her many sareea and jewellery as well... but this is the first time that he himself asked her to wear something that subhi used to wear.... even the payal that he gave santu was just bought for subhi not worn by her.

but I still did not like where they are taking this.😡 I Do Not Want DM to like Santu because he is seeing the saaya of his dead wife in her.🤢

When they show that he is liking her it has to be purely on basis of her being Santu and not because of any resemblance to his dead wife.

That would be too creepy!!🤢👎🏼
They better make it Very Clear!! Now would be a good time for him to talk about Santu to dead wife and tell her how he felt nice to see the mangalsutr on her again.

BTW, coming to mangalsutr.. I had a horrific idea about the mangalsutr when he was taking it out of the locker instead from near the photo.
By any chance did he give his dead wife's mangalsure along with her cloths and jewelry instead of santu?😲💔
