Uma...think that was Ramnavmi.....this is navratri....her first one as a Mahiyavanshi...
Navratri is a big deal amongst Gujjus I think....lots of dandia and stuff for all nine days...so we would have remembered if they had shown it...actually timing is perfect for SanRaj reconciliation...

About DM's behaviour regarding divorce, how can he know the legal loop holes or law points.
He has not done his bachelors in law, neither has he done any legal formalities as of now and nor does he know about divorce formalities. For him, he has signed the divorce papers and thats it, he thinks he can do nothing with that chokri as both has signed those papers and for them the divorce is through and no relation left between them . moreover until now he has not talked to that concerned lawyer. then in that context he is right at his behavior.

This has nothing to do with hiten.

This doesn't have, in my opinion anything to do with the legalities of a divorce and/or people's understanding of them.
This is about insaniyat - that is, humanity and decency. by tolerating a comment to the effect that santu should be brought into the house as a servant my opinion of him is greatly lowered. it's not like in the beginning when he (still wrongly) mistreated her. by divorcing her he hasn't undone any of the many things she has done for his family or sarifice's she has made.
He didn't show her ANY respect, from his behaviour. Let's see if he can redeem himself....

He may not have studied law but he is the maalik of the village and a shrewd businessman. Has he not dealt with lawyers before? I am sure he may have in his business matters. Did he as much as even attempt to find out about the state of his divorce? Whether there was any chance of salvaging the marriage given that it broke his chokri's heart? The spineless fellow left it to his mean sister to do all the legal paper work. How dumb it is to believe that once one affixes one's signature, the divorce is through. How come he has still not received the summons to come in the court regarding the divorce hearing (which by the way is happening at jet set pace. Are we still living in India?) when Santu had already been served the notice? So far it appears that the guy is the most selfish being on earth, only bothered about his self respect, his money and his immediate family which includes his children and his parents-in-law. Santu got acceptability as someone who took care of his family and as long as she does that in whatever capacity - a servant or a namesake wife, he is fine by it. A 'selfish' Hiten seemed more concerned about Santu's fate than he is right now. I hope atleast he contacts the lawyers and stop things before it gets out of hand.
